We should chase the likes of Calhanoglu, Bazoer, Tielemans, Dahoud, Kovacic, Goretzka,Tolisso

the next big thing in CM/AM position.
Calhanoglu - dont know about him. Doesnt seem to be anything special
Bazoer - Talent is there but is he the kind of talent we need?!
Tielemans - Definitely an interesting player
Dahoud - My only concern about him is his pace - He seems like a slow player
Kovacic - I wouldnt buy him outright although loan+option would be a good deal
Goretska&Tolisso - Dont know these two

Just saying, the 35 million pounds that Newcastle wants for Sissoko is probably about 3.0x his fair value. He is worth 10-15 million max. According to transfer market, Pogba was worth ~60 million pounds , we got ~90 or a 50% premium. By the same website, Sissoko is worth 11 million. They are asking for a 35, a 218% premium. To boot, they are relegated, and the player wants out.

If everyone practiced the Newcastle United form of transfer policy, nobody would get bought or sold. We should have quoted United 190 million Pounds for Pogba because that is effectively the same thing.

Wait a sec though, I recall many clubs using this transfer policy - specifically, any Serie A team when dealing with Juventus.

I know transfermarkt isn't science, but in this case I think it is pretty accurate. I mean, is Sissoko better than Pereyra? Different type of player, but generally, no.

Too ambitious.

We need a player who offers certain characteristics, while keeping in mind the realities of the market.

Can I interest you in an Angelo Palombo?

we missed out on the likes of veratti and griezmann and now we can pay the price when they are worth 70m+. we cant let other talents through, those names will soon be worth 40+ with how the market is going.

The funniest thing is the Rodriguez to Chelsea rumours. Conte has been saying over and over again that he wants defenders. Apparently, Rodriguez is what the Sun/Daily Mail/Insert mentally deficient tabloid's idea of a defender.

Fabinho is the player we should sign. Could solve two problems with a single buy with him being young and able to play various positions (CM/RB). We could use him as a midfielder now and move him to the right once our older players are done.

You watching him right now? Bossing PSG midfield at times. But fullback is his best position clearly.

Missed the first half but been watching the second. We will need a high caliber RB soon and he seems decent enough in the midfield as well makes probably too much sense to sign him. Not sure what's Monaco's position on his availability.

He is fairly available I think, he has been negotiating with Napoli most of the summer. No sum reaching 20m was mentioned either.
