Not just The Sun, but The Sun on Sunday, which is awful trash.

Still, a player with his attributes would be useful to us. I just wonder how motivated Fabregas is these days.
I don't see how would he be useful for us? We already have that in Pjanić and Allegri insists Pjanić will play as a regista. We can't play both of them, Fabregas totally redundant IMO. Let alone the fact he's a lazy primadona.

If we're signing a MF it has to be either BtB like Herrera/Matuidi or a trequartista like Kovačić/James so we can play 4-3-1-2.

How good is Sissoko`s defensive contribution?
I have seen him play few times but never really noticed him defensively..
apart from this I`m worried about his passing skills - He seems to know when and who to pass to but his accuracy seems a bit off
The fact that newcastle fans actually rate their new signing Mohammed Diame from Hull in terms of his work rate and defensive skills over sissoko ought to give you some indication

Sissoko has been very disrespectful towards Newcastle, there isn't a single Newcastle fan around who is able to give unbiased opinion on him at the moment.

If it had been us, Sissoko would have been gone for 15 million already. It's funny how some clubs are like "too bad", but we are like "we'll drive you to the airport, and pay your agent's fee" There has to be a middle ground.

Yeah this is going to be another Bendtner/Hernanes situation.

Not a desaster, but we should've done better on that front.
Lol, some people wont be prepared for this, some are even talking like we are in a position to say no to/question top quality like Fabregas or top talent like Kovacic...

In terms of age and investment for the future Napoli's mercato > our mercato.

They're doing the only smart thing they can at this point - buying young players now so they can try to brake our domination in 2-3 years.

If we can't buy a world class CM then buy someone younger. We did that with Lemina and its already paying of.

Conte frees Fabregas for Juventus?
By Football Italia staff

Reports in Britain claim Juventus target Cesc Fabregas has been told he’s free to leave Chelsea.

The Bianconeri need midfield reinforcement after Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United, and have been linked with the Spanish international.

Now the Sun is reporting that manager Antonio Conte has told Fabregas he can leave Stamford Bridge, as he doesn’t fit into his system.

The former Juve Coach is known for his aggressive pressing style, and it’s believed Fabregas isn’t as committed defensively as Conte would like.

The 29-year-old has played just 12 minutes of Premier League football so far this season - although he did provide an assist in that time - and didn’t feature in yesterday’s 3-0 win over Burnley.

If we are going after an absolute star it would be advisable to do so this summer. Italian football is bound to grow and the recent acquisitions by Chinamen will definitely increase spending power. Add to that UEFA rules like "finish 4th and win CL visit" and we might have serious competition.

I know our project is leaps and bounds ahead now, but we aren't immune against taking wrong steps and players like Pogba are quite happy to attack the Europa League or Community Shield as long as they get paid.

They have been swiping alot of young midfielders, but how are they all supposed to get enough playingtime to develope? Its idiotic to buy diawara, rog and zilienski when you have great players in midfield.
