I think we need a top CM before we need to spend on James.

Pjanic will be pushed up I think once Marchisio comes back. Any risk of relapses on his knee will further strain our midfield. We need a new CM, not James/Isco.

Formation wise, Allegri is NOT going to dis the 352 as his core at least at the beginning. BBC is the core and strength of the team and we perhaps have the best wing backs in the world. So you can see why the 352 suits this team. Only reason why it may come under question is that in the 352, the mid 3 has more freedom to attack - i.e Khedira and Pogba would attack a lot in that formation and were very good at it. Presumably when Marchisio returns, it would be Khedira and Pjanic.

Now, James as far as I am aware is a pure attacking mid. I don't know how much defensive work or general work rate is. We would have to change formation to accomodate him. That is a big call for a player who has been clearly out of favor.

Perhaps the 352 becomes a bit of a 3412 with James just in front of the more defensive 2 (Marchisio and Pjanic).

James would be an exciting name but again, I see the chances of that happening at less than 5%.

Eriksen/Draxler + Brozovic and we'll win the CL.
Well Real are apparently interested in Fabregas and with Asensio and all their million of AM I believe they might actually sell Isco!
Isco would be geat!

As for Eriksen and Draxler - We were linked with Eriksen for around 2 minutes and it seems like bullshit - Anyway I dont rate him that much - I rather we pass on him... As for Draxler - He is fast and might link up great with our attack but are we really interested?

Would absolutely love James here. He's the best AM out there imo. If we were dead set on playing with a 3/4tista then its a no brainer to go all out for this guy. However, I think at this point we are looking for a different profile of midfielder. James and Pjanic are guys not known for putting in much defensive work and with both players in a 3 man midfield we would get over run. A solid DM or box-to-box type midfielder should be the priority.

What if we got Yaya for a discount? Wasn't he left out of the squad? :boh:
I havent seen Yaya for a while now but if he is as good as he once was he would be the perfect replacement for Pogba! (I doubt he is anything better than average now though...)

James would be brilliant as he is fast links up great can really shoot is a leader and can give some great passes! My no`1 option for AM

We need some muscle out there. Not sure we could get his old form back, however.
