Anelka is on a 6 month contract so thats excusable.Peluso on the other hand is quite unexplainable but something i can live with though.

IMO, it seems Marotta has a clear list of the players he want to buy each mercato, and spends all his time trying to negotiate these deals. If/when they fails, he has no back-up priorities, and needs to start all over, in wich he has too little time to do so. Last summer RVP and this winter Lisandro. We all know what happend. I guess multitasking is not his thing:sergio:
This is what Marotta does:

Step 1. Makes a list
Step 2. Makes an offer
Step 3. Offer is declined because it is ridculously low
Step 4. Doesn't bother to renegotiate
Step 5. Buys cheapest and worst option instead

Can you live with him as an excuse to being an obstacle to our resources, a burden to the team with his wages and a thorn that cannot be sold?

If I were in charge and wanted to raise funds to buy this summer here is what I'd do:

Winter: quag, padoin
Summer: matri (llorente replacing), possibly Gio if a good cash offer or swap deal came up (jovetic for example), I'd try to get giach/peluso off the books as well, IQ if he still has a contract, Motta

But since its too late now, we gotta wait til summer. I'm forgetting someone I can't put my finger on it

Like Quagliarella? That guy that sits on the bench and is our top scorer.

I dont think he will be starting much from here on in imo_Or i hope Conte realizes this atleast.Atleast he dint cost nearly as much as a mediocre striker signing.

We signed Llorente, you have the short term memory of a heroin abuser.
hardly call it a marquee signing, look at the names we were linked with over the last 2 years, from Jovetic to Aguero and look we actually ended up with - Vucinic, giovinco, bendtner on loan, anelka on a short term deal and finally llorente for next season. I hardly call that impressive. and to think on top of that we were chasing belfodil in the last 24 hrs just screams desperation, but thats nothing new, why can't we go after david villa? we should have done more but marotta just shits his pants and goes for the easiest option

peluso isnt mandatory buyout

good plan i am on board

Giovinco has been better than Jovetic this season, imo.
good, the less he plays/performs the better for us, not that i rate him highly but realistically hes prolly the best we can get

Since we are so dry on money, id be willing to let him go while we can still make money on him

I realize he is our most consistent. Apparently we need money and we won't make it from selling padoin and peluso.

I'd also probably not take up the option on isla. Slowly giving up on him

be nice :) quag is pretty useless and he said to "raise funds" not sure ho else you woudl raise funds than to sell a player who would at least get some suitors
