IMO, it seems Marotta has a clear list of the players he want to buy each mercato, and spends all his time trying to negotiate these deals. If/when they fails, he has no back-up priorities, and needs to start all over, in wich he has too little time to do so. Last summer RVP and this winter Lisandro. We all know what happend. I guess multitasking is not his thing

hardly call it a marquee signing, look at the names we were linked with over the last 2 years, from Jovetic to Aguero and look we actually ended up with - Vucinic, giovinco, bendtner on loan, anelka on a short term deal and finally llorente for next season. I hardly call that impressive. and to think on top of that we were chasing belfodil in the last 24 hrs just screams desperation, but thats nothing new, why can't we go after david villa? we should have done more but marotta just shits his pants and goes for the easiest option

good, the less he plays/performs the better for us, not that i rate him highly but realistically hes prolly the best we can get
