hate to say it but I think it's chelsea's unless they get complacent, unlikely under mourinho
It would be a surprising failure if Chelsea didn't repeat. If they fail, there will be new mumblings with Chelsea and Inter used in the same sentences.

I think chelsea is too strong for both man utd and arsenal , may be liverpool this season will be the chalenger for the title also
nah, Liverpool still need a couple years and more than a few more top quality players to challege chelsea, manu, and arsenal. just compare the players that chelsea have at each position to Liverpool-purely player vs player, they are for the most part in a different class.

Liverpool improving and doing good with Rafael Benitez
i have not seen the Liver playing good like this year since the time of Kenny Dalglish & John Barnes .

Liverpool will be a tough rival this year .

How have you come to this conclusion? They've only played a couple of substandard teams in the CL qualis and you're comparing them to a great Liverpool side. I don't get it. Personally I think that they are a very ordinary outfit who would struggle to qualify for the Uefa Cup without Gerrard.

Seriously m_elayyan. I mean, Liverpool at most have like 2 players good enough to get in either Man Utd or Arsenal's first team. Other then that, there team is useless.

Chelsea lead Arsenal 1-0 at half time in the Community Shield, Drogba with the goal. They took the lead as early as the 8th minute when the Ivory Coast international striker chested down Asier Del Horno's long ball and volleyed home with his left foot.

Arsenal have had the better of the half IMO. Fabregas is doing a good job in the centre of midfield for the Gunners but Chelsea are just so difficult to break down. Terry and Makelele have been solid as usual.

Agreed. Apart from Carragher, Alonso and Gerrard the Liverpool team is very ordinary.

Pre-season form isn't always indicative of what's to come in the season proper.

Arsenal were IMO the better team. They played better football than their London rivals but two very well taken goals from Drogba made the difference.

Arsenal's best players were Fabregas and Gilberto Silva. Toure did well too and I was impressed by Hleb who came off the bench and added a much needed spark to the Arsenal midfield. His technique and ball control is top notch.

Drogba took his goals superbly for Chelsea, and quite like last season Claude Makelele and John Terry were rock solid. Lampard seemed to be off his game today. Neither Robben nor Duff were very good either.

agree with u about Hleb, wish we'd got him :frown:
Yeah, he's an exciting prospect for now and the future. Another thing I like about Hleb apart from his obvious footballing ability is his versatility. He played on the left, the right and in the middle today.

Chelsea won as predicted the comunity shield and i have a feeling that chelsea will win everything in england in the coming years since all the other teams are not in the same level
