I'd like to see Everton or Middlesbrough secure the final CL spot, but if Liverpool don't qualify Stevie G is likely to leave with Real and Chelski being the most probable destinations and TBH I'd rather Gerrard ply his trade at Anfield rather than strengthen Real or Chelsea.
I'd rather the whole of Liverpool and Real die in a plane crash.

I'd expect Juve fans to agree with me after all: Man Utd Vs Juventus 1999. Was the greatest performance by a midfield/captain ever. You say Platini was the best defensive midfielder? Keane is the greatest all-round midfielder, he is brilliant in attack and defense. I truly believe there will never be a player like him.

He did very well with ManU. But I think their best was the legendary Eric Cantona, not Roy Keane.

Besides, Ince and Gazza were better.

Nope, Eric The King was a legend, and of course imo, the greatest ever French player. (Of course, he wouldnt like me saying that, as he has to be the most unpatrotic Frenchman ever). But Keane is god at Old Trafford.

I'll like to hear you a few years down the line when Keano's all retired and gone.

Keane can still play at the top for a few more years. And I'll say the same after he is retired, even at Old Trafford, Cantona's name is still sang, 8 years after his departure, Keane's name will be sang at OT for many years.

Few more years? Get real.

But I like you. You are a real fan. Unlike some others that I've met in this forum.

I still stand by my view though. Keane's not the greatest from Old Trafford, he was just lucky to be there during the best period in their history under a (not happy to admit it) great manager.

Of course, Keane cant play week in week out anymore, but he is still the best imo. Look at the Liverpool Vs Man Utd game. Gerrard who I think, is probably the best in the world right now, even though I hate him. He was completely out-matched and out-played by Keane. Keane can still compete with the best, and he is doing well, with someone like Fletcher next to him, who will do alot of running and tracking back, something Keane can no longer do for 90mins he'll be brilliant, there is no player in the world I'd want as my captain coming into a big-game. People will talk as much as they want about Vieira and Makelele, Gerrard and players like Emerson, Xavi etc etc. But Keane is the best, he can still dominate and complete the biggest games.

Keane the best? Nicole, you and I already disagree on so many other things :D

All I have to add to this discussion is that indeed Eric *was* the king!
