Better then everyone, Do you really think a club can win so much in recent years without a great captain? I'm not biased, although I doubt you'd believe it, I say these things because I have seen him play so many times, and can honestly say Keane has never played a bad game when United REALLY needed him, and in his entire United carear there are so few bad games I could name them on 1 hand!

Anyone watch Man U - Chelsea last night? Good match between twentyone quality players + subs. (Silvestre was playing).

I thought Man U were unlucky. Duff's goal was a fluke, and that foul on Fortune was a (soft) penalty.

It struck me that they were really struggling from the dearth of fit strikers. When Rooney came on, he changed the game. Not because of anything he did, but because the extra striker made it that bit more difficult for the Chelski defense. It was probably the difference between Giggs finding the space for that delft finish and someone (*cough* Terry *cough*) having stayed with him.

Great game, we should of won tho...I felt it was very wrong that people blamed Howard for it, but it wasnt it fault

(Terry fouled Ferdinand before as Duff's goal was sailing over their heads)

Chelsea didn't play very well but had the better chances and won - the sign of a very, very good team. If they had a 20+ goals a season striker.........

In front of that team, I'd be a 20+ goals a season striker.

Easy penalties? What is that obvious ones? Whats a hard penalty? One you have to work (dive) to get like we do it in italy? :D
yes, hon, you gotta work for that penalty, entertain the crowd, put on a show :cheesy:

Oh, anyone is anyone else of the same opinion that Makelele is the most overrated player ever? I mean all he can do is defend, and his passes are never more the 5-yards, and always side-ways or backwards, if we think of other players in similar positions, Keane, Vieira, Gerrard, Emerson, De Rossi, Gattuso and Pirlo etc etc, they all contribute up front, it is my opinion that Chelsea play 4-5-1 because they NEED someone in midfield who can do both because Makelele cant!

Makelele was one of, if not the most important player(s) for Real, and his absence was part of the reason why we thumped them in the 02/03 season. Real were foolish to sell him.

I don't get to see much of Chelsea these days, so I don't know how he's been performing, but I lost all respect for him after his theatrics against Monaco :fero:

I did also, and I am not surprised he was so important at Real, but those clubs that not commit suicide by buying solely attacking-players, need a player like Makelele to get forward! He is overrated!
