I went to the villa game and the shots on goal doesnt tell the story. We often outplayed them. It shows that money doesnt buy sucess cos we have hardly spent anything and we pegged them to a 0-0 draw :D

lol-once again there was a bit of controversy over whether Bellion handled the ball when he scored at the last minute for United. lol-manu are not off to a good start! even Liverpool is ahead of them, after playing one less game!

..

Man utd have lost thier touch ever since Beckham left. what i dont understand is that why the hell would they pay 27m pounds for rooney to be on the bench. they already have Ruud, Saha, Smith, Bellion, C. Ronaldo, Solskjaer.

Instead of Rooney they should have bought 2 classy defenders with that money and get rid of those crapy Neville brothers.

Keane is losing it too and he's fairly old so they need someone in that department too.

I don't think he handled the ball, but I do think he pushed the defender.

The GK was at fault for the goal IMO. Surely, he realized that he is allowed to use hand!:D.
Anyway, Man U do have a long list injury layoff so the current form probably isnt indicative of their ability. Nonetheless, I have serious doubts whether they can be a legitimate cotender in CL and EPL.
For Arsenal, they playing soccer of different planet. Everything seems so easy. And Jose Antonio Reyes, WOW, he seems to have another Thierry Henry in making. He made such a hard finish look easy, and some of the goals he is scoring is just breath taking. Nonehtheless, I'll make a brave prediction that Arsenal peaked too early, and they will fail to win both EPL and CL. I always believe that defence is more consistent than attack, and if you don't concede goal, you will always pick up a point. They will be at times when Gunners attack won't be at full throttle, and I can't see Arsenal with their shabby defence getting too much points in those games. Chelsea looks solid ATM, and though I would hate to see arrogant Mourinho, and Abramhovic winning, I think they have a good chances of upsetting Arsenal.

It's probably a little unfair to judge Man Utd at the moment - wait until Ferdinand and Rooney are playing, but by then they could be even further behind Arsenal and Chelsea.

Reyes is a brilliant young player. If he keeps developing at this speed he'll be a world-class player in a couple of seasons.

Indeedy. It was always going to be tough for United early on in the season with the numerous injury problems they have, Heinze and Ronaldo at the Olympics, and Ferdinand suspended. Even when you take all of the above into consideration though, Manure shouldn't be 9 points behind so quickly.

i watched them against bolton yesterday,it was absolutely dead boring football and horrendous defending.just appaling.

Ferdinand should be able to make the difference defensively when he returns granted that he can find his feet quickly and Heinze settles.

Roy Keane said he feels the opposition no longer have any fear when facing Utd and that they like their chances of beating them, I think he has a point.
