I really liked the 23yo Khedira when he made the move RM, was an excellent midfielder in his first three seasons there before the injuries broke him. If 23yo Can is that good, signing him for free is a genius deal

He is like Khedira if Khedira could shoot from distance, score bicycle kicks, dribble multiple players, throw multiple harsh slide tackles, win more than half his aerial challenges, combine in 1 touch play and send through balls with both feet.

Other than that, yes, they are the same height, nationality and similar pace.

Like I said before, he wouldn't be my first choice for CM but as a free player it's pretty hard to resist. He has one good season for us and his value goes over 40M surely at that age and pedigree.

Also, I want to see him in another system besides Klopp's. He doesn't fit the quick pressing style that well. I mean, he can do it at times but it takes a special CM to do it under Klopp.

Just a touch slower playing pace could really help him in all aspects of the game.

Bonus: It seems all Liverpool fans are giving him full marks for how he handled the contract situation. It seems that he is a "good soldier" Juve type.
