What amazes me is that noone has mentioned how the bluegrana combination is a terrible clash of colors. In software it's a fundamental fact that you never put a red button next to a blue button because the contrast is too big and it hurts the eyes.
Hey, whatever makes it easier to identify the corpses after the plane crash. :shifty: :seven:

Actually a club's official website is generally how we're sure it's really official. Don't know what you're on about with trusting reporters.

A few years ago there was a link to the page of FIGC (I think) where you could see all the official registrations for all teams and their players. I cant find that page anymore though.

review i spoke of earlier:

'German football expert and HSV fan Dan Bu on Elia- “A few thoughts on Eljero Elia for those who asked earlier. Tricky right-footed left winger. Very good pace and technique. Primary a left winger, doesn’t like to play on the right. Lots of potential and all abilities to become a top winger, but no consistency yet. Only fulfilled his potential the first 3 or 4 months at HSV, but always talked about a move to a top club (already after his presentation). Seems to be quite immature & sensitive mentally. Had problems to deal with criticism & only performs well if everything around is perfect. HSV tried lots of things to make him feel comfortable, but surely made mistakes as well. In the right environment he might find consistency. IF he settles down at Juve (a team that has more quality than HSV atm) & finds consistency, he might be worth 2 or 3 times as much in 2 yrs. The IF in the last tweet is a big IF, but as a Juve supporter I would rather look forward to see him play, than doubt his signing.”

Good luck, Eljero! Hopefully this guy makes good on what is obviously some pretty impressive natural ability.

Lichsteiner and Pirlo are the best two on paper, just shows it hasn't been a disaster in all honesty. The proof is in the pudding, as always...
It sure is. Right now, we've got some ingredients; only time will tell if the pudding is a success.

I wish this kid the best of luck, but if he doesn't do as well as Juventini wish...yikes.

As for his alleged previous comment about Juventus no longer being considered a big club, I say where there's smoke there's fire. I'm sure if he didn't say something along these lines his agent would've at least attempted to save his own ass. I guess they thought everyone would just forget about it. :howler:
Hey Max, nice to see you posting. I was pretty surprised considering ESPN were carrying that story; I figured that meant the quotes were dependable.

Fun fact he is Marotta's 23rd signing

That's just an insane number. Crazy.
