I feel like we're a couple of pieces away from winning that CL for Gigi...
I feel the same way. We're not far from establishing ourselves as a top-4 Euro team. Currently, there isn't a big difference between us and Bayern/Real.

Surprisingly, we matched Bayern on a technical level. Our inferior mentality in Europe caused our downfall. That should continue to improve over time. Add a few more gun players, and we really will be in business.

Marotta said there won't be too many signing in the summer, but we'll only focus on top players or players who can improve the starting XI. Something along those lines. Predictable and makes perfect sense.

We've already established ourselves as a top-4 Euro team. Now we need to catch Barca/Bayern and even they are not that far away. I completely disagree on the mental aspect thing as we showed great character last season against both Real/Barca and again this season against Bayern. We lost because we lacked the technical ability to contain the game and ran out of steam.

I agree,

We are not that far as people think, maybe we are not fancy and have fancy players like the others but we got a very strong unite.

We changed alot this year and the current squad need some time, if its not for injuries and our disaster season start things will be taking another road.

I think Cavani will stay at PSG if Ibra moves on otherwise he leaves to play somewhere else.

Ibra's situation depends on CL if they somehow manage to win it he's gone if not he might stay another year or two in hope of winning it.

IMO we are like 2 top players away of seriously aiming for the CL cup.

We find 2 more very proficient players to complement our already good team...and we can seriously aim to win the thing.

The biggest difference between Bayern and us was their bench. They had Coman, Robben (injured), Thiago Alcantara, etc. on the bench, we had the likes of Sturaro, Mandzukic, Hernanes.

Big difference.

Our defensive options are fine what we lack is one or two offensive difference makers. Berardi is a start, another one would be fine but not a must if Morata stays

We have to improve on technical level if we're to reach Barca's/Bayern level. Least year we were much better in that regard because we were able to play more with the ball, simply keeping possession or counter attack. You don't win games in Europe by defending any more if you give up as much possession as we do. Even in Serie A we have a quite low possession percentage which forces our players to run more and we don't want that, it tires them much more.
Having said that I agree we should buy Berardi but it won't be enough, especially if we lose Morata. Besides that we need Pereyra to finally step up and improve on AM assuming Allegri still wants 4312. If he sticks to 352 we need improvements in CM definitely.

we've been through this movie before, we will never get a player like Cavani. This is Aguero all over again. We will bid, and then a Premier team will come snatch him up. Now that Conte has the bank account to eat at a $100 restaurant, he will snatch him up just in spite.
