I wouldn't take Benatia even on a loan. Given we can only register 25 players and the guy's always injured, signing him would be a very bad idea. When are we gonna learn not to sign broken players...
That's true, he is pretty far over the line, he brings his club into disrepute. That sort of player against irritating Serie A defenders? Refs and the media would destroy the guy.
Cavani is much more talented and doesn't have the anger management issues that Costa has. Plus, Napoli's greatest striker since Maradona lifting Serie A titles with us and bashing Napoli's goal would be fantastic banter
If its Cavani or morata I'd still go with Cavani. Cavani's level is morata realizing his potential. With the former we get the ready made player at this level and we neither have to wait nor nurture him and hope he grows to become wordclass.
Cavani is much older yes so he'd give us 2-3 years at the most but then Morata too would probably move on in 2-3 more years if we buy him. The difference is really in re-sale value as Cavani wont be worth anything in a few years while morata will be worth even more than he is today (50-60 mills).
IMO you either get a ready-made world class player for 2-3 years and get no resale money OR you get a very good but not world class player for 2-3 years and sell him for big bucks. The latter seems more like the Juve style signings and is economically smarter though the former would instantly improve the team a lot.
If Madrid takes Morata back then we should go for Cavani, otherwise we should try to keep morata and offer madrid an additional 20 mill.
An underrated one was Estigarribia (forgot how to spell his name, had to look it up ). We got him when his parent club Le Mans were in Ligue 2. What the fuck
Italien through his grandmother. He turned out alright in the end. Classic Paratici - how the fuck could you even find that guy?
