Amauri's biggest problem was that he is as heavy as a ton of bricks. Zero acceleration and super super slow. In order to score, you have to be a step ahead of the defenders. Slow strikers struggle alot to get into scoring positions. Cavani doesn't struggle with that at all. He's strong, yet he can accelerate fast. On top of that, his finishing skills are amazing, both with his feet and with his head.

Our post calciopoli track record with high transfer fee players has been terrible. Amauri, Diego , Melo , Tiago and Andrade. Would Cavani fall in this category ? His finishing isn't really that great when he plays for his NT as well.

Cavani is being linked with a possible San Paolo exit this summer with Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester City linked.

Oh noes! Now we know how this is going to end.
He'll initially reject their millions for a chance to join us, we'll spend all summer speculating and hoping for him while Marotta tries to entice Napoli by offering reject players they don't want until Cavani gives up waiting for us and just joins City. Sound about right?

All the players mentioned are Secco's. And why do we care about how he performs for his NT?
