They are both average players, nothing more, nothing less Albert. Let's not go over-rating every Juventus player because they play for us and/or have a few solid games. They are both good bench options, but should definitely not be starting if we have ambition in the coming season(s).

Cavani is one ugly fuck, especially when he had those braces.

Amauri was pretty much 28 by that time, and I didn't forget.

The comparisons seem to run out at long haired, ex Palermo, South American striker. Because they differ in playing styles as well.
Very different players. Amauri stood at the top of the field and waited for goals. He didn't move around well it was like he was 300 pounds but he was a good finisher IMO but just never positioned himself well to get into goal scoring chances, especially in his last years at Juventus.

Cavani is a beast player. He'll help out every department of the team, he'll track back, he'll open up space, he moves well, and his finishing is top notch.
