yeah thats what Inter thought, they constantly bought 1 or 2 "quality" players to take that next step. when they failed and knee-jerked their coach out of the door they would go on a massive spending spree to bring in the "type" of player this coach liked. he would spend some time closing the gap then spend big money on 1 or 2 "quality" players, fail, sack the coach

repeat until they can buy some judges
It worked back in 1987 when Berlusconi bought Milan and started buying the best. He was alone in Europe, unrivaled, and he did manage to create a big team that ended up winning 5 CLs in his 20 years there. Of course, it wasn't only money and other things contributed to Milan's success, but it was the crazy amount of money Berlu used to pay that started everything.
Today it's much harder to do something of that kind, simply because there are other just as rich teams that can rival you for every player you want to buy.

Yes you may very well be correct. if he joins city he will have to fight hard.

but as long as juventus upgrade their squad no one should be safe there either. if he dont deliever at juventus, juventus will take action because you like city have the ambition to fight for the title.
You are right, who could imagine that Diego would leave juve last summer, last year all of were expecting so much from Diego and no one would imagine him being sold, even for 40 million.

Even Dzeko could fail but chances are higher that he would have starting spot in Juve more than he is at city based on stability of Juventus, Juventus doesn't make big changes unless something big happens like last year. otherwise with this tempo or winning scudetto Dzeko would have a starting spot, if Dzeko is close to what trezeguet was in his prime he can have his starting place for 8 more years. In city could be different story.

Perhaps you don't know this about Juve but we rarely really had a squad that is filled with world class players "even" in the periods when we dominated both Europe and Italy !!

We used to have on average 4-5 world class players but we always had a unique mentality and spirit in this club that made us so dominating for the past 100 years.

And thats something you really can't buy....
Of juventus have had plenty of world class players! you also have had grealt manager, and you have a certain styte of play! and so on! thats why you always will be one of the greatest and biggest clubs in the world! i dont disagree with that.

the only thing i say is, today you dont have a better team and if we look at the future. juventus future are not brighter than city's

juventus are the bigger club with a greater history. but for many players that is not the most important. the present and the future are important to!

Man Shitty. :howler:

They will always be Man-ure's bitch in England. I can see why city fans are so sensitive. They are tired of being a nobody, and one guy with a deep check book comes along and they think they suddenly have a history. :dielaugh:

If Dzeko picks City over Juve, it'd be somewhat expected. They have the money. But if Dzeko picks us I want to see the reaction of the City fans. They're already so pissed about Krasic :lol2:
