Extend, surely tried but extensions with one or max 2 years, as reported here, would basically just be spreading out the salary already given to him in one year and therefor a negative for him... Like we did with Arthur...
Did we somewhere offer a real 3-4-5 year extension? I don't remember. If we didn't, it would've been a sign his position was shaky at best even with the extension.

Keeping him on 6-7 mil is a no-brainer. He has shown many glimpses that he can shine and be a top striker. The problem is consistency and confidence.
If he goes to Milan for 6-7 mil a year it's lose-lose for both us and him. Milan is the only winner in this scenario.
