Well, I am really glad to see him come. We need him. I hope Allegri can find a way to build support for him. Dybala will obviously help, but... who else? We will still be easy to defend against, just that now we have someone that can score goals on half chances, flukes, etcetera. So it's a great signing, but I hope people don't become upset with him if the goals don't arrive as expected as there is no support around him.
This type of player is perfect to combine with Chiesa
give and go understanding between these two will be a nightmare to defend against, add Dybala shot ability to the equation and we got a triangle of death. Easy to defend? Hardly. Perfect signing to boost and rejuvenate the other players games.. but yeah still Pressure on Max to deliver as expected because its realistic expectations now (minis a B2B which we still need)

Yes, but I am talking about this season, without Chiesa. For next year a B2B is needed but I'd rather look for a more creative midfielder and move Locatelli into a B2B role. Unless we think Fagioli can be that creative spark and keep Locatelli deeper.

Massive coup. Just a week ago we were linked to bums like Milik, Icunti and Martial, instead we're getting a top3 forward of the young generation. Like going from a Dacia to a Mercedes.

The numbers of the transfer kinda scare the shit out of me tbh but luckily there's so much upside to this transfer. Just stay healthy and keep scoring 'em goals, we badly need improvement here.

From Loftus Cheek/Icardi and all the other bums to Vlahovic. Fantastic ending to a pretty nerve wrecking window

I think his arrival alligns everything for a 352. With Chiesa gone, that way we would maximize our best players, in positions that suit better for them: Vlahovic (strong CF), Dybala (SS), Cuadrado (RWB), Locatelli (CM or regista).

McKennie would be perfect as the box-to-box CM (il nuovo Vidal), De Sciglio has done pretty well before as a LWB for Italy, Bonucci and Chiellini speak for themselves.

Have Danilo and Sandro as backup RCB and RLB if needed, since we only have 04 CBs.

This would also suit the absolute lack of winger play in this team (Cuadrado is the only one who can do it).

Fill the 3rd midfield spot with whoever is available/in best form.

Sczez / Danilo - Bonucci - Chiellini / Cuadrado - De Sciglio / Locatelli - Anyone - McKennie / Dybala - Vlahovic

Sounds good, no?

I'm not sure. So far from what i've seen, Allegri likes to play around our midfield. I have a feeling we're about to open the pitch a lot more with long balls forward. To you know who. We'll see. The next few months are gonna be really interesting.
