Really stupid even attempting this in a league where every action of our players is scrutinised under a microscope. Adding to the fact that he had already put his teammates in a disadvantage recently then you start to wonder how dumb this mofo is.
I'm not defending this bum, but this is a part of the bigger problem with JJ, we cannot expect non Italian players especially those who never played in Italy before to take special extra precaution with his own field play style just because now suddenly he plays for JJ, when all he does is just perfectly normal on his occupation for every other clubs and leagues out there.

In fact it only serves as a discrimination disadvantage against JJ when recruiting players in this day and age, imagine you're a young player and you have a choice between playing with JJ or other club and then someone in your entourage pointed that, look if you play for JJ you would have extra pressure against you that you would otherwise not have playing on other big clubs, in fact it could be the opposite, playing for other big clubs would give you privilege, playing for JJ you're being treated as criminals.

I wouldn't blame you if you choose to play for another club due to this discrimination against JJ.

... Probably got wife and kids....
isn't lehmann his family though. i don't think they have kids to worry about. as far as i know she's bisexual and her gf was a swiss nt team mate before she started to date luiz lol

btw all those napoli players who were robbed on a regular basis didn't collapse at all. luiz must be prepared for that, and if he isn't, then he will be now. he's a grown up, he'll handle it. my garage was robbed a few years ago, it felt like shit for a day or two, it certainly was a bummer but nothing that would have influenced my life on the long run.

Man, that's shocking if you say it like that.

Starting to feel for the lad.

i don't think he played a bad match vs lazio. loca and thuram weren't any better and they aren't getting half of the criticism luiz gets

yeah that punch was surely idiotic. and that's basically the only thing worthy of a mention

His passing was terrible. Though in general he tried riskier passes than the others in midfield.

luiz must be prepared for that.
Sorry bro but I stopped reading there. Nobody should be prepared to have their house robbed. More so when he probably lives in a nice area, not the sewer that’s Napoli.

And btw this is not an excuse for his performances. He’s been extremely underwhelming so far and might turn out to be a bad signing.

nah, people should protect their property. if they don't, they're either naive or dumb. or maybe both. accidents, robberies, illnesses can happen, that's the nature of things. shit happens, that's why you pay insurances, that's why you install alarm systems. if you don't, you invite the criminals. and even monte carlo's or luxembourg's crime rate is above 0% so location only matters because of the odds, not because of the necessity

This type of robbery has been happening to footballers for decades now. The dude makes millions and can afford security. So he lost some jewelry, so what.

How do we know he didn’t have any of that? It’d be fair to assume his property has insurance and some sort of security system, no? Or was it reported he didn’t?

no info on that. but if he had both insurance and alarm, then he was prepared and there's nothing to worry about.

you said that nobody has to be prepared for a robbery. my remark was general: that's not the case

insurance just replaces the item value. And alarm can only work if the the thieves don’t disable it.

Even with those the knowledge that your home was broken into can be mentally scarring. When you sleep at night your thoughts are going to be what if they break in while I’m sleeping? When your away your thoughts are going to be what if I come to a broken in house again?

It’s mentally damaging. People process this differently but it can take years for people to get over trauma like this. Hope he is mentally strong and gets over this soon
