Italian teams dont sign many players from the PL generally speaking as theyre expensive but off the top my of head:

Tevez
Pogba
Evra
Dzeko
Salah
Gervinho

Even bums like Ashley Young were moderately successful here
One point, Developed players who are established well would move to EPL, players at retirement age or mediocre come to Serie A for vacation.

there's not been one case of a player making a successful move from PL to serie a
back in 2000s Serie A was the league of top players and no one would move to an inferior league like EPL, new era of football and Serie A has become of the league of crappy mediocrity.

What's his role? Is he some luxury-signing type player that will pop up and score a goal or play a nice through-ball every now and then?

This guy cost €50 million and all I'm seeing is sideways passing.

Different angle. I don't necessarily agree with the sentiment, it was still dumb.
Really stupid even attempting this in a league where every action of our players is scrutinised under a microscope. Adding to the fact that he had already put his teammates in a disadvantage recently then you start to wonder how dumb this mofo is.

Excuse me what?

Tevez, Dzeko, Gourd come to mind and I'm sure there have been many more.

EPL tend to keep their best players. I'm sure if we bought their best players they'll be just as fine over here. Serie A tends to buy hasbeens or never was been from the epl.

I feel bad for the guy because of the robbery, but in some ways it may work out because he’s going to demand a transfer, especially as he resumes his rightful position on the bench once people are fit.

Ok so I have my assessment on D.Luiz although he could convince as he has the talent. I want him out already and why because he already shown too many signs of Red Melo.
He got a red card, caused a penalty and gave an absolutely red card worthy punch to a Lazio player. I remember when watching it hoping that VAR missed it somehow.
If a guy cause a goal and a red it means he should care much more about not getting another. He is a last resort until he proves himself. 50M for him what a robbery.

He hasn't been sent off and yesterday's incident was not red card worthy, stupid lazio cunts made a meal of it just like every tackle we made.
