It's a disciplinary issue. He didn't anally fist anyone without their permission.

There are rules and consequences for behaviors. If you do x, y happens. And then you move on.

You've always had a hard on for DC.
:howler:

Thanks for the last stupid line. Making it really easy for me to deal with you as of now.

For the record, I'm 100% sure i'd be angry and disgusted with all of our players for pulling such an epic brainfart, no matter who it is. That's what coming from a good home does to you i guess.

got hit twice and told something afterwards. ref ofcourse saw nothing so he took "justice" into his hands, spitting was probably unnecessary but he lost his shit and wasnt thinking straight. he should take the fine and move on. there will be a chance for revenge soon when we visit them.

Three games ban is absolutely not happening, of course they will use that to make an example, Pecoraro already told that they will start evaluating the TV footage from the elbow situation until the end and look at them individually. My guess is that Costa would get somewhere between 5 - 7 games ban as a combination of all the incidents (for example 3 games for spitting, 1 or 2 for elbow, 1 or 2 for attempted headbutt or however they judge it), and whatever the number is, he deserves it.

He shouldnt react like that, he did get hit in the face few minutes prior his elbow and the ref should have called it, he may got annoyed about that and the scumbag probably kept provoking him until Costa finally lost control, forgot where he was and went on retard mode.

People also shouldnt react like he raped and murdered a bus of 10 year-old orphans, he made a mistake, did a disgusting thing and now will face the music and meet the consequences of his actions, he`s not getting away with it so at the end of the day justice will be served and he`ll be punished. Its up to him now to come back stronger and try his best to redeem himself. Wish him luck!

When do we find out the punishment?

My neighbour is playing Sri Lankan music and it is fucking awful. Sounds like someone being tortured to the point that they almost like it.
Atalanta is playing SPAL as we speak so the league commission is yet to have a meeting. I'd say tomorrow or Wednesday we should know the punishment.

Will they measure the amount of spit before the ban? Damn, Douglas collected so much. He was waiting and waiting and then boom! There you go, in your face Nazi!

3 is enough and thats only for the spitting and red card. The other things the ref saw and gave a yellow card. Di francesca hit him twice with elbows in the play before, and should recive suspension for his role in this shit

He went gonzo. I don't think three is enough. Especially for someone who committed three red card offenses in one match (which invalidates the "first time offender" thinking). I think 5 would be fair.
They shouldn’t count the headbutt because he was cautioned for that with a yellow card. It should be 3 for the spit and maybe 1 extra game for the elbow. 4 games is plenty.

People need to stop with the 3-4 red card offenses. It was 1, the spitting. The other episodes was seen by the ref, and he got a yellow card. This way of thinking di francesca should have two red cards for his two elbows, and maybe a third for what he said to trigger the spitting

Cmon man, you act like you just started following Juve and Serie A. Of course Costa is getting the maximum ban because he is a Juve player. There were two games played the same time during ours, if for example same, exact same thing happened at Genoa Bologna, say for example Orji Okwonkwo elbows, punches, headbutts and spits Koray Gunter after the German elbows him twice and talks provocative shits to the Nigerian, would that be as big of a news as Costas? Will it get same amount of reactions? Nope, nobody cares if a nobody spits at another nobody in a game that nobody outside the stadium cares about! I bet I wont even know that it happened until I somehow get to watch the highlights of the round on TV or read an article at Football Italia about the fines that would probably have a headline like "Juventus fined 20 000 euros for anti-Napoli chants" and then, at the end of the article they will just announce that Orji Okwonkwo from Bologna is banned for 3 games after spitting on Koray Gunter from Genoa.

Lets wait and see for how long Douglas will be out, but I am sure it will be for at least 5 games and they will include all of the incidents, or take under consideration, lets say it that way.

And yes, the annoying little Sass prick deserved to be punished, he played nasty and dirty and deserves to be punished too. And on top of that if he did said something offensive to trigger Costa`s outburst, then he needs to be the one apologizing...

Really unfortunate situation for us, given his quality and the importance of the player. Hopefully he learns from this and comes back more humble and works hard to regain his spot.

Only positive from this is that rotation upfront wil be less of a problem now, but still, a big loss for us.
