I had so much hope and love for him :touched:

If he doesn't have at least 15 goals 13 assist aka jewbinco prime number we shouldn't buy
Had to Google search where he was playing now, then clicked on playing style in his wiki page

"He has earned comparisons with former Juventus great Pavel Nedvěd"

How was this ever considered aside from the fact he had long blonde hair :sergio:

They aren't wrong though. Only a few years ago a player like Gervinho was considered a top player in Serie A with a little bit of speed and trickery.
Their fans got used to high quality wingers like Robbery (nothing wrong with that) but DC is better than the autism rat and currently not many top wingers available.

It's like comparing a red panda to a Kodiak bear. They're both bears

Autism rat is Coman?
Yeah he's nothing special. Of course replacing Robben and Ribery is a tall order. Coman is not a solution but DC probably isn't either.

That's basically what the people on that forum said. They only want Juve to buy DC. In the meantime Bayern have winger aging problems with no solutions. Delusional people.
Because they actually have seen Costa play, unlike so many here who thought it was a decent purchase

DCosta has shown some amazing dribbling skills tonight, noone could steal away the ball from him, but how about the essence? I am not sure...

Still not showing very much.

Some nice tricks but in the wrong areas and so far shown absolutely no end product.

When you consider he is our third highest earner, he should be coming off the bench and having an impact.

He really has no understanding of how to use your teammates to get ahead. Zero interplay just a race horse that's focused on beating what's ahead of him.

He is not gonna get a starting spot at all like this.

Sometimes you need a player like that...when you watch him dribble he pulls 2 away instantly and often times a 3rd...he needs to lookup but also our players need to start making coordinated runs that Costa is expecting so he can free them up then hit the ball into open space.

Its great having a player like that if you know how to use him...too often our players just look as he dribbles on...there is zero understanding between Costa and the rest of the team. IMO that's on Max. Needs to sort that stuff out in training.

But you've mentioned before he is definitely better on the right, I agree.

Yep. There are players who can adapt quickly and be prolific in any situation, DC isn't one of them. He's good but not that kind of good so he needs guidance. To take full advantage of his quality Allegri has to make the team play FOR him as well. If there's little understanding between him and his teammates it's not only on him.

It's OK if he isn't one of them. What we need is the other players making movements to supplement that.

DC can be a gold mine if Max tweaks/gears the team in the right way.
