Finally a proper world class winger. He is everything Mandžukić is not. He can cross, pass, dribble, assist, score, has impressive acceleration, top speed and 1st touch, etc...

MVP of 2017/2018 season, imo.

With all respect to cuadrado, with costa, you can see the difference between someone who is world class in his end product and someone who is good enough but not WC.

Thats why i say we need another man in the other wing with this kind of workload and results. With cuads, once you get to the 3/4, we waste too many chances because he is all about sprints and crosses, thats it.

Players like Costa and Bernardeschi actually go a level beyond that and are very sharp in their decitions, and have the skill to back them.

I am very happy with our attack, individual wise at least. Higgy, dybala, berna, manbro, cuads, costa.

The money needs to go to CENTRAL MIDFIELD PLEASE. We dont even need a lot of players just get Can for free and then really just splash most of the transer budget on someone world class.

If there is money left over than sell ageing manbro and replace with Martial if not martial than morata

Cuads 5g8a in 1800 minutes
Costa 5g13a in 2700 minutes

huge difference indeed

People here were against him starting on the left ahead of of Manzu :))
Because Mandzukic was so bad on the left against Madrid. :seven:

Add to that, Cuadrado has been one of our better big game performers over the last 3 years. Costa has yet to show up against the big boys. Until he shows up in CL like he does against the minnows, I hardly see how one can call him much better than Juan. He's helped us win the league in a period we've been struggling through, but calling him our season MVP is pretty amusing. MVP of the last 3 months in Serie A sure.

People should go watch baseball if they want to put so much emphasis on stats to judge players

Anyone with a pair of eyes and anyone who watches Juve matches regularly can see the difference in quality between Cuadrado and Costa.

Keep calling him flat track bully or 'he shows up only against minnows' if that suits your agenda. Not a surprise its coming from the same bunch who rated 10 goal a season Morata over Higuain.

You're making a good point, but with the same argument it's pretty visible Cuadrado has a bigger input in big games. Not that Costa isn't good in them, he has done quite well

Mate, Costa is in his first year and its only since Dec/Jan that he's got an opportunity to be a regular starter. His performances in big games have been satisfactory.

Excellent against Spurs, one of our best players for sure. Bad game in the 1st leg vs Madrid but excellent again in the return leg. Scored against Inter and is stepping up in the most crucial point of our season. If these are not big game scenarios then i dont know what is. Lets give him a full season before jumping to conclusions atleast as far as his big game record is concerned. Cuadrado has a better output(for now) in big games simply by virtue of being longer here.
