for the most part criscito hasn't really played as a left back. Ferrari wasn't available for the chievo game which is probably why they played with 4 at the back. Attacking wise he doesn't get forward as much because he can't afford to with a 3 man defense. It'll be interesting to see where he plays when he comes back, cb or at lb. But so far, from what I've seen, criscito has been great this season. Much improved from the start of last year.

Here is Criscito's little interview and the translation, for anyone who is interested.

E' inarrivabile"
Translated by Google translator (I edited a little. Sorry if there is still something unclear. )

"First I want to give a warm greeting to those who are still my fans. I hope that this site is an important reference point for all of them. As for the business field, Juve has been proved to be the only opponent of Inter. Even last year the bianconero character was clear, and this season it is continuing. The fans should not fall, as some big recoveries have already been made.

Next week is a time of Champions, as you can see the Juve against Chelsea renewed?
"Chelsea has great champions like Juventus. They will not suffer the brunt of the change of coach. Amauri I point that has impressed me a lot, and my friends Giovinco especially Marchisio who is doing very well."

As is proving useful to your experience at Genoa?
"Those were tough months for me in Juve, but now I'm growing both physically and tactically, this year I have served a lot to improve. Then the coach is one that focuses on young players. I am confident. Then at Juve there were many champion players who are even greater persons, they gave me lots of tips for improving and always stayed near. "

One of these champions, Buffon, has gone through a period a little 'difficult because of the many physical problems that have plagued
"It takes courage to talk badly about Buffon. He is the best goalkeeper in the world and will remain forever. He is unreachable.

He has been playing wingback for Genoa, meaning the wide left player in a 3-4-3 system, or pretty offensive LB in a 4-4-2. Has gotten so comfortable going forward, that he has assisted, scored vital goal here or there, and I think from what I saw, been fouled twice inside the box to get a pk :p

Settling in well in that position, not that I dont want him mainly for CB. But if versatility, which Ranieri likes, is the reason he gets back to us, then so be it.

which makes 3 our options for LB next season
Molinaro
De Ceglie (as left midfielder too)
Criscito (as CB too)
NICE.

Isn't it great to see how Criscito is performing now? Maybe it is time he has earned a recall to Juve and show his true potential at last

Buffon

??? - Criscito - Chiellini - De Ceglie

Week in, week out, at the new stadium :lick:

PS Damn, we have Ariaudo too. 3 potential starters at CB, and all left-footed, don't see that very often eh.
