Just to clarify, i am not against islam. I'm atheist, but understand some people need to be able to believe in something to give them strenght or meaning to their lives as long as it doesnt harm others.
For me, catholic church 300 years ago, was just as bad if not worse.
All that islam needs is to evolve. Separate religion and state. And start by giving women equal rights.

So basically you do exactly the same thing you accuse theists of, i.e. you have your "preachers/gurus/clergy" that read the 'source' and tell you what's written in it and you take his/her word for its accuracy.
Btw, here's a fun fact for you: out of all the converts to Islam in the United Kingdom and United States most of them are women. Islam is the fastest spreading religion in these countries and among women it's the fastest growing...and I'm not just talking about women who marry Muslim men but single educated women.

Some here were wondering about opinion of oppressed women in Muslim countries. I want you to know that there are also women who are oppressed because they choose Islam and it's happening in so-called civilized part of the world. 'Superior Culture' is not that superior when it comes to discrimination, they just know to hide their shit better.
Another bullshit is blaming Islam for the problems in middle east. Kamal, Gaddafi, Saddam, Assad, Mubarak, Assad Jr, Sisi, King This, Prince That... so many devoted Muslims huh? Muslim countries are being governed by secularists... Some of their laws might contain Islamic teachings but that's only to fool people, make them think that they are living under a Muslim government. Otherwise they had to revolt and elect their own leader.

Not sure what you mean by good news? I believe in the separation of church and state so it's not "good news" for me in the sense that I'm happy to see the "Islamization" of Europe or anything. I wish the Muslim population would integrate better and at the same time I wish those countries would make integration for them easier without asking them to abandon core beliefs. Integration in North America is 10x better than in Europe, why do you think that is? Western European nations have declining or stagnant populations, they want cheaper labour and need people willing to do remedial jobs. Problem is your welfare system encourages leeches. When people have extra time on their hands they get up to no good. Then, speaking from personal experience, European nations have a very funny way of constantly reminding you that you're foreign and not native so you get a generation of young immigrant children who want to feel a sense of belonging. Here is when the mullah comes to prey on them and try to recruit them. That's when you see people asking for "Sharia" in their neighborhoods and what have you.
We are not so different to be honest. Its just that for the first part of the past century, the mines made the french part pretty good economically. Then they closed, and the corrupt politicians of the social party decided, rather then fix the problem, to put them on unimployment fee's, and created a culture to do so.
One could say as a result they are more layed back then us. But i'm pretty certain, if their economy is back in shape (its growing), that the unemployment would be simular then ours, and that we wouldnt be much different apart from the language.
