But my point is that did you really ever "choose" to follow it? Anyway I don't get your last bit. I don't follow atheism, have any atheist principles, or base my beliefs around anything like that. I'm not an Atheist in the way that you're a Christian if you get my point.

No we don't....you clearly don't understand how science works and what the ideologies are that surround athiesm. It's not about what gives us meanings that is important, what is important is to find the truth.

A lie can be very comforting and can certainly give meaning to people. Nevertheless, it's still a lie.
