Ok, i've got the ball, im gonna this way, but if i go this way, he's gonna tackle me and i'll fall, so should go that way and surprise him! But wait, aha, he'll probably think im gonna try that, so i'll make him THINK i'm going this way, when he go this way too, then i'll pretend to go that way, and then he'll just slide to stop me coz he's already going the other way.
Can you think about that in one second, just one second!!!????

by the time he's comes up with this seriously confusing shite, the defender prolly already has tooken the ball from DP and started a counter. i've seen that quite alot.
Quite alot!!! Maybe you played FIFA Game or Winning Eleven Game, and unfortunately you played juventus team. Maybe it's better if you play milan or anyother team but not juventus.

Why don't we start a serie of "Does xxx have a strong point in his game?" for every single player in Juve. Then see what will we get in our discussions ...:groan:

Of course Ale has good points in his games!! All Juve players do! Moggi just won't pick any dumbass walking on the street and makes him a Juve player! And all players have thier up and downs. I remember everyone here were talking positive about Ale in the beginning of this season when he was really on fire and he kept scoring almost every match. Now, we all stuck with his less-than-satisfactory performance BEFORE this season and talk trash of him!! I mean WTF! It's just not fair.

Off the ball doesnt mean if he is running or jogging it means if he could create space for him self.....
so yes he is good of the ball.
As for dribbling I think its just right, but change finishing to 16.

haha, dribbling 19? :howler: he can hardly get pass one or two decent defenders in a row, and he's got 19/20 for driblling? :howler: 18-20 dribbling is reserved for people like zidane, okocha, denilson, ortega etc. not DP. the most i give DP for dribbling is 14 or 15.

He doesnt dribble frequently but he can. Its not like he tried to dribble but failed, its that he prefers to do something better like pass.
Okocha is a great dribbler but what does he do after he dribbles past 4 players( shoot the ball wide, make a wrong pass).
So yes Dp is a GREAT dribbler, if he wants to dribble.
He scored many goals after dribbling past players. In the days when Del piero frequently tried to dribble he dribbled alot but most of the time, but when he goes past the third player he gets stuck so he shoots wide or cross when nobody is there but now....
He is more mature he dribbles only when its necessary and pass when he has the opportunity.
Example: Juventus- Milan (Delle Alpi)- Del piero got a through ball from Nedved and was on the edge of the penalty box and Maldini was behind him, Most players will get intemedated by the fact that a great defender ( maldini is behind them so they will either just shoot or If they were good players like ockocha will try to dribble past him) But DP saw that Di vaio was in a better position for a shot therefore he threaded a great pass to him only for Divaio to tap in.
Just because Dp didnt dribble past Paolo doesnt mean he cant its just that it would be better to pass.
DP is no show of like Ockocha, or Ortega.:groan:

Actually it's the other way round.

He used to be a better dribbler before.

A player can only improve he cant become worse, its not like speed you loose it when you get old its talent.

I agree. I've never missed any single match of juve and there were many times that tv showed his off the ball's brilliance in slow motion during matches' break as well as his controls of the ball.

To be fair to him, I judge him from all the games he played this season, before his injury, and my opinion is that he is great, and as Nedved said, fundamental to the team.

Yes he was geat but not fundamental since we won all the matches without him. He would be fundamental if we had missed him.

The only fundemental player in juve is buffon because there is no back up for him. Now there is back up for Del Piero unlike two seasons ago when we didnt have any exept DP and Trez and we suffered.

At least, I share the same opinion as Nedved's.:D

It's true that we won the matches without him... but who was our opponents??? They are not big teams.
