played soccer for 8 years........in a youth league.......preferred playing center midfield-most important position IMO, but was put where ever I was needed-I was competent at every position except goalie. was pretty good, but haven't played for 3 years because I didn't have time(well, my parents didn't have time to take me) but god I wish I could still play!

well kinda ironic this, today i jus captained the college team, played cm, wore me number ten shirt, total 90 white boots(appiah boots), scored two freekick, and a outside box drive.

2 assists as well, cross from corner, and threww ball, we won 4-1 lol, thing was, i conceded a pen(do'h), chasing back, oposition forward threw on goal, what do i do??? miss time my tackle and give a pen, even tho i got the ball first !!!!:fero::fero::fero: gave away a pen and got sent off!!!!:fero::fero::fero:.....

So yeah u can say i play football, i try and play like Stevie gerrad, but oftne do a good impression of the old montero Ie get sent off!!! 2nd of the season, only played 4!!!

Wow, that sounds okay, except for the RC. You got a straight red? Whoa, that's pretty harsh. I guess that's how it is, though, with college teams. you had a great game :thumb:

nice job with the goals and assists

sounds like you're a rough player..... I've never been sent off in a game and i've only received a yellow card for complaining to the ref. My Tackles are always straight for the ball without even making contact with the player.
the only contact i'm known to make is a bit of shirt pulling when i'm marking someone :D .... there's no such thing as 100% clean man marking ;)

i probibly couldn't play rough anyway if i tried. My balance is terrible! i fall from the slightest contact because all my energy is spent on controling the ball and making new moves. i dont think i've ever dribbled someone because i outrun him or out-power him.

WOW! I didn't notice this thread... it's kewl

I play! Play me, I'm open!!! ;)

I'm currently injured. I broke my foot this saturday in a match. That's the second time within a few months I've broken my foot. Our stupid keeper went on nice little trip outside our box, the opponent shoots - I race to clear the ball (Montero style ;) ) I get the ball, but also the post... ouch!

yeah ive mellowed but this season its jus taken the mick, not particularly dirty, jus one was for the aformention incident, another was for 2 yellow's, lol both for rough tackles, so i guess im rough (as ian said in my sig, engliahs play like convicts, and as ive grown up playing the english way,we use our physical ability mroe than our techincal.

But im not jus a dirty player, jus sumone how enjoy's a good tussle:cool:
Im the midfield enforce/playmaker, my partner in cm is very very skillfull, fastest feet i have EVER seen, faster feet than Zizou!!but for sum reason he didnt want to go to the man u trials he was offerd??!!!! his parents didnt want him going into football, they didnt think he was good enough!!!We have played together for a while so this give us a good understanding, the two assit form me were to goals from him, overhead and as ronaldo esque dink round the keeper...........

we could make a pretty good team in these juve forwards, we now have two goalies in ian and Goatee....we could have pretty good squad lol:cool:

no man,
The ball came near the post on the way in, and as I kicked it - the follow through went straight into the post - shattering my poor foot. I knew I would hit the post - but I sacrificed myself :strong: I'm the Braveheart of football!! :D ;)

Yeah man... He was like standing over me, asking me if I was ok... and I was like "Whatta f*ck do you think dumbass? Did you not see me kick the damn post trying to save your arse? Did you not hear my foot crack? YOU MOFO! Do that again and I'll kill you!"

We won, and he promised to buy my drinks next weekend. So it was worth it. :D

sounds kewl

there was a thread here a while ago which made a juventuz.com formation.

i think i was placed as a leftback, but i would prefer to play sweeper so i could control the defense (offside...pushing up.....zone defense  )

My Idols are Maldini at leftback, Cannavaro in CB, Zidane as a playmaker and DP as an attacker.

though what's funny is that i also tend to be a "right place at the right time" person, so i can pull a lot of inzaghi style goals or i'm always clearing the ball off my goal line at my end of the field.

Did you not have the presence of mind to move your foot to the side and simply graze your shin on the post? :p

No dude! There was no time to plan it. I just had to get the ball the hell outta there you know.

But maybe I should start thinking things over. I seem to get into all kinds of accidents all the time. This has got to stop... they know me to well at the hospital. They're like "Hey Anders, which bone did you decide to smash up this time" :D

Wow, sounds like your team plays Total Football. You must be pretty fit, if you can run up and down the field that much

 that's sort of the same with me. Whenever I tell the doc that i've got a broken bone, he checks his records, and he's like "ahhh, i see it's been a whole 6 months since your last injury. Good job!". You know you should start taking more care of yourself when they know you well at the hospital :howler:

actually, i play in different teams...

i wont say my fittness is at it's best... (i was prbobibly at my best 2 years ago when i was in a very competitive team and we practiced twice a weeks for 3 hours each, and played a game on Sundays....that time i also played on Saturdays too with another group (not so talented).

i won't call it total football, because i play different position with different teams depending on how competative it is. each team plays a different style too.

on Thursdays, i play University Intermurals as a playmaker in a team with Asians and a couple of Central Americans.

on Saturdays, I play with Asians and Africans as an attacker (like DP, but i score some pippo goals)

on Sundays, i play in a mixed team with Turks, South Americans, and Americans in a local division 1 league. with them, i play CB or LB.

Damn you're cheap :D A drink for a broken foot??? :D

Anyways, you should have just stiopped the ball with your hand, gotten a red card and told the keeper to save his own arse now!
