The only top player that Marotta actually failed on was Jovetic, IMO. He should've been more aggressive earlier. All the others (Cavani, Suarez, Higuain, Llorente, Dzeko) were out of our reach.

We could've tried someone like Doumbia, Damiao, Lewandowdki, but those would've been expensive gambles.

So Marotta actually got one of the best possible deals for little money. Hopefully this money is still going to be used to bring a great striker. And we can sign Llorente on a free now.

Well, its 15 mil we keep in the bank, and if Llorente doesnt renew, we can pick him up for cheap in the winter, or more likely, for free in the summer
