apparently Secco has stated that Diego is not an option, since he doesn't fit into 4-4-2
i thought it was a done deal?!
but a week ago it was more like diego is a great player..let's change formation ... we r after him and now this? where do they get this quotes? next week it will be a done deal again and the week after diego doesn't fit in our system....

btw. what about silva? haven't seen him play in 2008-2009 (paytv over here shows just madrid and barca) he was great at the euros but is he worth 25-30mil?

I ve never accused Secco for not accomplishing a transfer that it has been as highly speculative, as these rumors here.
That would be insane!! I merely blame him for the ones that he actually did, for the logic behind them!
When ppl insists we had no other choices, i am forced to counter-argue that with confirmed transfer targets. When our officials openly and officially speak about them, they are confirmed transfer targets, or at least under consideration. I dont fill them with my own preferable targets or the presses presumptions as you accuse me, only to discredit me...
Howdly doody mister convenient flip flopper, how about this?

As for the young Italian winger, these are the most realistic rumors i ve red about, so far... Judging but what we have seen so far from our management, its the most logical assumption.
Ooooh, whaaat, did you just bitchslap yourself? I think you did!!!

This is a logical assumption based on his past deeds, not an accusation.
I cannot blame him for smth he didnt commit yet!
The accusations who gave birth to this assumption are backed by hard facts!
Done deals! The transfers we actually made and how they worked out to the build up of our team. Secco has spent nearly 150 mil, only to buy a 1 and 1/2 starters.

Who knows man? I brought this up yesterday, today there are some news about it in the papers. Like I said, take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes that source was right, other times wrong. I don't like when they say one day "it's a done deal" and the other say something like "are close to buy"...Just wait and see I guess.

We have to stick to what Secco is saying since 99% of time he tells the truth. In that article he talked about yesterday he says a good sum will be invested for Neddy's replacement, Diego wouldn't fit in our system, Silva is a player we're looking at...

Is it confirmed Secco was actually in Spain/Sevilla to watch him?

Because thats good enough news for me, I dont buy these speculating and flip flopping media rumours, but its positive enough news Secco would go scope him out.

I heard about a Spanish paper talking about this. I'll check to see if I can find it and post it here if they're mentioning a meeting between Secco and Valencia representatives.

Ok, heard similar, if confirmed, thats good enough for me that we are serious enough with him. It kills the idea that the Silva angle is just media invented.

more news about this, according to Cadena SER radio in Valencia, the offer was 25m € + 5m in bonuses. How they know that beats me. Yeah, they can throw numbers in the air just like that to make it show more credible but too many things and rumblings make it seem more than just a rumor.

They even mention the restaurant where Secco met with Valencia reps. :D

el restaurante La Despensa de Sevilla

Names of agents are in there also and one of them was the guy who helped out in the Poulsen transfer(Segui).
