And Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi while you're at it :melayyanandmessi:
But signing Silva and Diego combined is not as impossible as signing Ribery. First because the latter is more quality than either Silva or Diego and second because there's a big difference between Bayern and Bremen/Valencia. Given a chance I'd pick Ribery over the other two without thinking twice but I think Silva and Diego are more realistic options.

Ribery is indeed more unrealistic. Bayern won't sell him cheap, i strongly doubt he'd go anywhere for less than 35M.

It's not that unrealistic IMO ;)
The FM thread is in the off topic sub forum :p

Nah, we're not even looking at him. We'd have known if we were after him.
Our board doesn't hide anything from the public. They don't surprise us with last minute transfers. We always know who are we looking at and who will join us. They keep talking about Diego and Silva and it's sure that one of them will be our prime target. If we fail to bring any of the two then we'll go for a less attractive option, easier to negotiate, not someone like Ribery who requires months of negotiations.

One or the other we can ill afford to cop out on alot more important areas such as a RB and perhaps a CB,Silva and Diego are luxouries and its either one or the other,as for if we can afford another luxury it would be Cassano for me.

Hehe, thats for sure, I mean, Cobolli Gigli actually said 2 days ago, that we ARE after Cassano and that he is good lad and a transfer target.

How many club officials say things so upfront like this in pretty much all transfer targets? :D

You go from the most secretive club ever (silenzio stampa between snack times, hehe), to being the most open one prolly. The swedish commentator for Serie A, long time follower of calcio, said that the difference between back then and now is STAGGERING. Of how back then, you couldnt breathe the same air as Juve players without premision from the Juve media rep, of how journos has to be drilled to talk to them, and get a list of things not to ask, and time table etc, hehe. Now he said the Juve media reps and officials in general are the most open and genuinly friendly ones he has seen in his time in Italy.

Just thought it would be nice to hear, it was cool when he mentionned it.

P.S Even more offtopic, but I really hope Bettega gets back into our board :star:

Interviewed by Sport Week, Werder Bremen 24 year old Brazilian attacking midfielder Diego said: "Serie A has many stars like Kaka, Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Del Piero, Amauri and Totti. There is also a phenomenal player like Pirlo. ... The interest from Juventus is real. It is not just rumours. If I will leave Werder, it will be to play for a club capable of winning the Champions League and Juventus can do that. Whoever is interested in signing me, should talk to Werder and with my father, he is also my agent".
I wonder if he is friends with Van der Vaart...

He isnt, he has been cryptic, respectful of Werder and said the decision is prolonged to the summer for a long while. But now he seems to be more frank, because he has quite clearly made up his mind about leaving, and Werder knows it.

VDV in comparison for minute 1 of his pro career, has been whoring himself out to the whatever club the media connects him with, going really overboard.

Know the point you are making, but they arent anything alike. That Diego says these couple of months before a likely move, is a indication of things to come IMO, instead of desperately whoring himself out to any big move like VDV.

Hehe ok, Ribery is hella good, but I wouldnt choose him solely over getting BOTH Diego and Silva, haha thats ridicolous. We may not need more then 1, but having both would be ridicolous quality upgrade.

Dont make Ribery seem like he is Messi or something (I would choose Messi alone over like 10 great players :D).
