I didn't criticize them about the new stadium before, but he has a point here. Is it the right time to invest on new stadium,? when you lost your entire team 3 seasons ago. Wouldn't it be wiser to build the team, then the stadium later in 5 years let's say?

You guys need to be more objective, you can't defend the board for everything they do just because some members bash the same way..
Without knowing how much the stadium is taking out of our budget, it's hard to say if they should have delayed the stadium. I think the decision to build the stadium now was as much about sybolism and show that the club is renewing itself and moving forward.

I have no doubt that building a new stadium is a 'good thing', but it may well have been better to wait a couple of years to do it.

And I don't always defend the Board, there are things they do which are simply indefensible (I wouldn't have given Secco a new contract). However, I think there are people who criticise the Board for everything and anything, even when they have done the right thing.

Damn them for moving to look after the club's long term interests.
yeah, they would rather sell Buffon just to be sure that the stadium is getting the funds needed, we wouldnt want to compromise our future now, wouldnt we??;)

WORD!!!!

People just don't realize that there is a difference between long term planning and short term planning.
Exactly, it is funny how some are ready to accept some lame excuses, only to deny the truth...

Nothing should be done to compromise the long term future of the club.

Exactly, it is funny how some are ready to accept some lame excuses, only to deny the truth...
And it's funny how people will look to criticise, regardless of what has happened.

What's your point?

That's my point. The timing is so wrong, we needed first to build the team that can compete for the next 5 years or more, slowly step by step, then we could start saving for the stadium project.

But we can compete. We may not be able to win, but we can compete.

Anyway, whether it was now or in five years, a stadium was needed. At least this way we will start to make money off the new stadium sooner than otherwise.

Building cost is cheaper at this time.

The highest costs nowadays are salaries and both my points are in general based on the current economic situation.

Not Diego, because I am convinced that there is nothing Diego can do that Giovinco cannot.

Not Ribery, because no freakin way we gonna get him and I have a strong suspicion that he is not "Juve material" :p

So by elimination, Silva it is. He's the youngest of the three, left-footed (it is an advantage, trust me) and there will be less pressure on him to perform, if you know what I mean.
