20m would be reasonable compared to the other 3's transfer fee
if you take into account that he already "flopped" in milan ... why do you suddenly think he is good enough for serie a ?

if palladino would play in serie b and be the best player there after we loaned him to some serie b club, would you instantly want him back ?

perhaps serie a is just not gourcuffs cup of tea ... please don't argue with the performances in the national team, because it is well known that there are people that do shine with the national team and will never reproduce that performance for the club, like it is the other way around with other players (del piero)

Is there an option that Gourcuff could reject offer from Bordeaux? Or he will be instantly transferred if Bordeaux pay their 15mils

No, Ribery is perfect for 4-4-2 and 4-3-1-2. He can also play in 4-3-2-1 of course, but we don't have a partner for him, unless Ranieri decides to play Giovinco.

Ribery isn't a winger, he's an attacking midfielder. He plays exactly the same position Nedved had before Capello made a pure ML out of Neddy. But he can also play excellent on the wing.

Even if the choice is both Diego and Silva for 50m or Ribery alone for 50m i won't think at all and i'll go for the Frenchman.

Btw, anyone else thinks that if Calciopoli didn't happen Ribery would have been a Juve player today?
Exactly. Its a common misconception that Ribery is an orthodox winger, when actually he would fit perfectly in a 4-3-1-2. He played behind the striker most of the time for Marseille, until Nasri came along, and Ribery was moved to the left wing so the two can play together. Jean Fernandez who was Ribery's coach in Metz as well(he is Franck's favorite coach) played him as an attacking midfielder behind the attacker.

Milan never really gave Gourcuff the chance he deserved, he is a talented player no doubt about that, I firmly believe he'd do well in the Serie A if given a fair chance.

I have always viewed Ribery as a converted winger, but his ligntening pace is enough to fool anybody that he has been a winger for his whole life.
did Ribery play as a winger or CAM when he was in turkey?

Agreed but would he fit into our 4-4-2?

All that Modric/Diego discussions behind us, answer me this:

If both were available and willing to come to Juventus; you're saying you'd pick Diego over one Franck Ribery?!
Looking at their prices I'll go with Diego without thinking twice. If they're both available for free/same price and willing to come then I'd go with Ribery.

I personally never saw him play for galatasaray.

He has the qualities to adapt, but he has to be given the freedom to roam.

Roam, a word that we Juventus or in fact the italian league doen't hear very often. We are so tactical so I think Gourcuff would struggle if we put him in a straight 4-4-2.

Ribery is playing on the right side tonight against Argentina. Something like MR/AMR. Damn this guy is versatile and great everywhere he plays.

So Bordeaux will pay 15m for Gourcuff, who'll sign a contract with them.

He won't go for less than 25, a fee we could get Diego for. Same position, similar age. Who's better?
Gourcuff- I dream of him following in the footsteps of Platini and Zidane. He's not as silky dribbler as Ribery but in my opinion Gourcuff shoots better.
