Heh,even if thesun is not so reliable they will be around...which means goodbye Ribery.

We should not get our hopes high and focus on someone else.
So what? We are not capable of beating any top europe club for a signing now? Everytime we approach someone and there is another club asking about the same player, we already lost the battle!? So what is the first thing we should do if we try to think logically? That would be removing our BOD asap! We need to regain our status in europe and once again be atractive for wc players!

We are not capable of competing for Ribery with top clubs. Our financial situation is not that great. Our budget will be around 35mln euros probably which is not enough for him.

You can't beat 40mln euros offer along with 6mln euros/year.

If he was the only player that we need it would be different but no,we need at least 2 more players out of that position.

I don't think we are going to spend more than 25mln euros for AML.So,no Ribery for us.Unless some big cash pops up.

Not with the current financial status though. We need players in more than 1 position, unlike the past where we can just buy 1 Buffon or Nedved. Finding more Camoranesis and Maicons is the target of the management. Out of the 3, I will only pick Ribery. He seems to have the same mentality as the club.

I know that Ribery would cost much, but if we want to find an adequate replacement for Neddy than we must pay big money. It's simple as that and we shouldn't regret money on quality player (I'm not speaking about Ribery only).

We can spend 45m on him and still buy other players Dusan.

    buy: Ribéry(45), Eboué(0), Guberti(0), Floccari(11), Bellusci(5), Criscito(0). Total: 61m
    sell: Zebina(2), Palladino(5), Almiron(3), Pasquato½(1.5), Iaquinta(12)...and more Total: 23.m+

We spent around 50m 2 years ago, 15m last year so around 40m this season would be correct.

But we bought Buffon, Nedved and Thuram in one season, however we also sold Inzaghi and Zidane.

I agree that we must find more promising players who could be potential good, and I think that we already doing that, signings like Ekdal, Iago are proving that. However we now need some instant quality especialy if we want to replace Nedved. I know that our financial situtation is not great compared to other big clubs but something must be done, I would rather se our youngesters getting chance rather than buying player with similar quality like Salihamidzic.

If that's the case I'm all for it.

But this season we have spent 37 and we got 20+ from selling our players so I somehow doubt we're going to invest 60 this year.

60 minus the players sold so the number would be more around 35-40m depending who you sell.

Agreed! I said it earlier. Ribery is out of the question for us. Even if we manage to come with an equal offer with some other top club, I doubt he will choose us!

Who is that guy Guberti? Is he any good?
He's a winger who could be the backup of Neddy's replacement. Can play both wings and like to dribble. Played for Ascoli and now is at Bari with Conte and Lanzafame.

Why he wouldn't choose us? Juve is a perfect enviorment for him, he would have a big task to replace Neddy and maybe become important like Zidane was, that's the perfect motivation for the player. If he choosed Bayern who played UEFA Cup that year and who plays in inferior league to Serie A, why wouldn't come to Juve.
