McDonalds is not so bad, i eat there 3 or 4 times a week, but i'm nowhere near to being fat and i train only once a week, so how much more should a pro footballer eat there to start being worried about his weight?

If a pro eats at McDonalds three times a week he should worry. We're not talking about health here. We're talking about food that can boost your performance. McDonalds does not do that.

But the real reason why they should worry is that they have enough money to go to a fancy restaurant and choose to go and have a Big Mac. That's just insane.

Michael Phelps supposedly loves McDonalds and has to eat around 11,000 calories a day while training because he burns so much. He eats greasy food all the time and it doesn't hurt his performance.

phelps is a freak though
No, Andy is right. He burns enough calories during training to even everything out. However, Mr. Phelps could be saying this to psych his opponents out as well. By saying, "Yeah, I eat junk food all the time," the athlete look like he doesn't give a fuck anymore, only to prove otherwise in competition.

McDonalds is fine as long as you eat the right things there. Don't get 12 chicken nuggets and a large french fries.

The best thing to drink/eat after training and you're not at home is a milkshake. Cheap enough and thwarts both thirst and hunger.

Wait?

When did Phelps become a professional soccer player?

They don't eat the same things, Andy. How about you? You've been working out lately? Your pics make you look a bit.. flabby :D.
