Diego issues Juventus warning
Juventus will have to show more tolerance if they are to get back to winning ways, former player Diego has warned.
“Juventus have no patience,” the Brazilian told the Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday. “They threw me away too.
“When you change so much you need time,” he added. “I just hope they can give that to new Coach Antonio Conte.”
Juve signed Diego in May 2009 on a five-year deal after a €24.5m transfer fee was agreed with German giants Werder Bremen.
However, Diego and Juve struggled and the South American was sold a year later to Wolfsburg for a cut price €16m.
The fantasista, who was bossed in Turin by Ciro Ferrara, Alberto Zaccheroni and briefly Gigi Del Neri, is now on loan at Atletico Madrid.
