That's not true IMO. He's a very different kind of player. He's certainly not a poor man's Kaka. He's more of a playmaker, but less of an attacker.
Well, Kaka's obviously better, but Diego's a good player. Calling him a very poor man's Kaka is hardly fair IMO.
Yes, they have different styles. I'd say Kaka is more of an attacker now, because of the way Ancelotti fields him. In 2005 mainly, when Kaka was still fielded behind two forwards, we saw what Kaka can do as a playmaker. Diego does not come close.

Calling Diego a very poor man's Kaka may not be entirely fair, but then it was a reaction to calling him an anti-kaka, which is hardly fair either.

Actually I liked it, before the season starts we fooled ourselves with the "new.." thing, but when the season started , everyone saw the difference

The reason we sign a player is because he's good, not because he's a new-somebody or anti-somebody

I agree, I'm sure with Juve he'll show more skills, but till now he didnt shine like Riquelme in Villarreal or joaquin in Real Betis, so there's a possibility that he won't perform as we expect
And again he was very important @ Argentina (he scored 2 wonderful free-kicks against Chili)! He's a really good player, why he cant bring things he bring in Argentina, at Juve? I believe in him...

I meant that he didnt shine as Riquelme did, or as Ronaldinho did in PSG

Plus Werder isnt a crap team either, last season they had players like Frings and Klose

This team can go far in Champions League, with only two signings needed.

------------------------Buffon

Grygera----Mertsacker----Criscito-----Chellieni

----------------Zanetti----Nocerino

-Iaquinta/Marco--Giovinco/DP--Diego/Palladino

---------------------Trezeguet

Subs: Molinaro, Sali, Andrade (if still alive), Legro, Tiago (if Juve were moved out of Italy because he can't settle welll in here), Marchinonni, Palladino, Del Piero.

Nedved, Birindelli: Retire.
Almiron: Sold (if possible, of course no one would pay us 9m)
Camo: Sold.
Zala, Blasi: Sell the other half.
Zebina, Boum: No explination is needed.

Like the formation, but

- Iaquinta and Palla as wingers wont be the best choice, they cant do the defensive role helping Zanetti and Nocerino

-Camo is still better winger than Marco

- Hopefully Crisito will be experienced next year for the CL, as he's not experienced even for Seria A now

- Zebina and Boum: exactly

- My 1st choice would be Diego and Giovinco to play behind Trezeguet, in 4231 it's not necessary to be a natural winger to play behind the lone stricker and Iaquinta and Palladino are both good at playing wide.

- Right now Camo is certainly better, still, I have high hopes for Marco if he can only keep himself injury free.

- That's what I hope... if not, we can always deploy Chelleini as CB and use Molinaro as LB.

Marco is really unlucky, he was injured after a promising pre-season performance, and he'll probably return with Camo, so he wont have an enough chance

as for formation , it can change depending on the opponent, for a weak one it can be :

-Iaquinta--Giovinco/DP----Palladino

---------------------Trezeguet

For a strong team it can be something like :

-Marco/Camo--Giovinco/DP--Diego

-----------Trezeguet

As still I can't deny the defensive effort made by Camo and Nedved

We don't have to, I just thought we are well covered to play 4231 without him.

If We don't sell him, will have then Iaquinta, Camo, Marchionni, Diego, Giovinco, DP, Palladino.... 7 quality players fighting for 3 places... we have to sell somone to free some space.
That still doesn't answer Lion's question, nor does it justify your selection. It simply is senseless. You'd sell the best player of that lot, just to free up space?

I am with u right there, Camoranesi has more experience and would certainly be important for Juve, on the other hand Marchionni isn't missed what so ever, we should sell him.

- He is certainly not the best of the lot.
- He will be 32 next year so he will have a maximum of two good years on him.
- We have plenty of younger alternatives... Marco, Iaquinta, Giovinco, Palladino can all play a wide rule in such formation.

- Yes he is, who else?
- So in other words.. still plenty of years for Camo's good contributions.
- Which all do not fill Camo's role as well as he does.
-

For me Camo is an untouchable for Juve. Who could replace him and be just as good or better that doesn't cost 30m €+?

Camo not only creates but can also defend quite well.

Not really. He doesn't defend well.

But he's one of the best in his position while attacking.
