Not really. He doesn't defend well.

But he's one of the best in his position while attacking.
you never saw him come back and be the 5th D and take the ball away from the opposite player and start the offense? That's good defending IMO. He's got no tackling skills but he doesn't really need that. + he's got Zebina and Birindelli to cover for so that makes him great at defending. :p

Let's say he tries to help the rightback,if successfull or not he always tries to win the ball or disturb the opponent. He is not the lazy kind of winger who is just offense-minded.
Yes, he tries, but he's not good in defending, though his ball control, moves, and attacking are very good.

- Yes he is, who else?
- So in other words.. still plenty of years for Camo's good contributions.
- Which all do not fill Camo's role as well as he does.
-
Age is the my number one concern, Marco(27), Palladino(23), Giovinco(20), Iaquinta(27), Diego(22, incase we sign him as I assumed in my formation) are certainly better future investement for a team in the buildup stage.

Caomranesi------ Del Piero---------Nedved

-------------------Trezeguet

Iaquinta---------- Giovinco-----------Diego

-------------------Trezeguet

I would certainly go for the 2nd formation... as they can only improve:eyebrows:

Because Iaquinta is a striker, we all know he can play as a winger but that isn't his natural position.

e.g. : Salihamidzic is a utility player he can play in both wings and can also play as a full back but he is more effective as a winger.
Iaquinat play his best football when he is deployed wide (remmber the Roma game?)... WTF do you mean by his natural position? Buffon started his career as a midfielder, should we play him there because that's his natural position? Zambrotta's natural position was RM while he played his best football as LB.

Sali is more effective as winger:shocked: if you are lucky to find me a member with no lucky in his nickname who agree with you on this I might argue with you, for now I will just say it's not true.

What i mean by his natural position is where he is more effective at.

Iaquinta played as a striker against Roma. Trezeguet was partnered by Iaquinta, with Del Piero behind them. Iaquinta did NOT play as a winger.

Iaquinta might be a good choise for the wing in desperate situations, but it's a waste to put someone with his physique on the wing.

I don't care for the on-paper formation... during the game Iaquinta drift wide a lot... you could seen him on flanks, crossing, holding the ball and making runs.

On-paper it was Del Piero behind Iaquinta and Trezeguet... what we have seen on the field of play was Iaquinta playing wide and Trezeguet as a box player.
