Remember how this midfield worked?

Conte

Camoranesi - Davids

Nedved

Well, it would be similar to that. Sissoko would sit closer to the center of the pitch, and whomever plays left-back will have to be responsible for the entire left flank. Only problem is we don't have someone there that can handle that job.

yes molinaro, must he come in and crush all dreams

a player like Diego if he doesn`t fit then I hope Ranieri has the brain to make it fit
why sign players who cost a fortune and then hope that they somehow squeeze themselves into the formation and hope that they somehow adapt simultanously to a new league, new players AND a new position?
This is real madrid's way to deal with things, not juve.
And i said it a hundred times; Diego is one hell of a player, probably the next best brazilian thing for the oncoming 8 years or so, but he won't leave werder (no matter what his agent and the media want you to believe), and he will NOT FIT ranieri's playing system.
Apart from that, i think we have other worries then an AM right now; with this defense, diego won't even touch a ball, because buffon, legro and mellberg will have trouble clearing one attack every 5 seconds.

With this formation, and with these players (in defense), diego is not the player who helps us win any silverware. Once we have a settled defense, and have enough players to rotate our system, then diego would be probably the best thing that could happen to us

change formation and put him in there or if Ranieri couldn`t find a place for him than replacing Ranieri who is also not a winner is not a bad idea

ofcourse its fantasy football I`m talking about now and it probably won`t happen

so yeah, let's change coach 3 days before the season starts, that's a nice idea. And let's change all of our tactics, those friendlies we played were useless anyway. And let's sell poulsen again, because with an AM, we'll never need 2 DMs... Yeah let's buy Diego and let 10 other players adapt to him rather then buying someone that actually would fit.

No matter how good he is, or how much you want him, it's not going to change the situation! But you're right, it's fantasy-football. and because of that, we shouldn't even have started arguing about it.

yap we shouldn`t
but I agree it is too late for changes this season next season however...
Ranieri has a chance if he will win one of Serie A or CL he will definetly stay IF he fails to win then I guess that there is a big possability that he will end up fired
(ofcourse nothing is certain...)

Hey Guys.... i've visited arabic forum and discuss this point too, how Diego would

fit in our system ......some of them shows how Real plays in the days of Zidan

and the formation is quit intersting :

-------------------------------R.Carlos
-----------Makélélé--------------------
-----------------cambiaso-------------
----Figo------------Zidan--------
---------------Raul--------------------
-------Morenties----------------------

yes we don't have class LB, but we can have same thing like that:

-------------------------------Molinaro
-----------Poulsen--------------------
-----------------Sissoko-------------
----Camo----------Diego--------
---------------Dp--------------------
-------Trez----------------------

i know it's dream but, what the fuck :D
