Turan might double his value in a season or two, I don't know but until then he is nowhere near the level Mesut Ozil is at. It's got nothing to do with the Turkish market man, neither with the fact that he was on his last two years of his contract. It's just that Turkish league is not known for producing talents so big clubs are not willing to take the risk of paying big money on players like Turan no matter how talented they seem to be in Turkish league. They first need to prove themselves at top level.

I don't want to talk about him since this is Lugano's topic but I'll go ahead.

How many times have you watched Arda? I don't think you watched him as much as you were able to watch Mesut. They're both Turkish players and we've been watching them more likely more than you have. This is the mentality you guys have. Mesut is better than Arda because he plays for Real Madrid, and I do like and support Real Madrid in Spain because I hate Barcelona so much. So yes I did watch almost every game of Real Madrid last year.

I went to college in United States, all my friends from Madrid used to say that who the hell is Mesut when Real Madrid first bought him. Now, i think he's the best player in Real Madrid after Ronaldo. Arda has more talents than Mesut any day but if he's going to be able to show his skills at Atletico? We'll see.

I'd say he will be playing for Madrid or Barcelona in 2 years.

I'm am so sad that Özil plays for Germany man. Would love to see him in Red. In the super cup match on Sunday he yelled "Siktir yaa" to the ref :D

Your friends said "who the hell is Mesut?" even after the World Cup? really now :p ? And Ozil is technically kurdish, or it's only ok if it's football ?
