As we saw tonight, in any shape or form should Domizzi be used as a measuring stick at all. Agger btw is reasonably decent with his right foot, absolutely lethal with his left. I agree with Sadomins order also, but I would add Ivanovic and have him ahead Santa Cross.

In my head Ivanovic is already lost, that's why I didn't put his name up.

You guys think he could be available when Bosingwa starts playing?

I was talking about a pure lefty playing on the right center. I'm not measuring talent. Only the competence of a pure lefty playing RCB. Domizzi is one and so far only a few managed to do it but in an emergency case and not as good as when they play naturally at LCB.

    My order of preference:

    Agger
    Marquez
    Santacroce
    Zapata

Haven't seen enough of Kjaer and Subotic to judge. If they're as good as I've heard they are, then they'd be in between Marquez and Santacroce.
My order is the same. Agger or Marquez is imperative. Kjaer could still turn out to be a one-hit wonder and Subotic is still young as well. With the first two in the list we get immediate experience and class, so perhaps if we have some remaining money we can buy Kjaer later.

    Marchisio---Sissoko--Asamoah

    -----------Diego-----------

with Camo, Zanetti and Poulsen as back up
I'd go for something like this:

    Buffon

    Motta - Agger - Chiellini - Criscito

    Camoranesi - Sissoko - Asamoah

    Diego

    Amauri - Del Piero

With Giovinco playing for Del Piero or in tandem with Diego. Legro, Zebina, De Ceglie, Poulsen, Marchisio, Trezeguet, Yak, and Giovinco on the bench. Maybe also an upgrade to Marchionni.

Sell Grygera, Molinaro, Tiago, Marchionni, Hasan, et cetera. BLOOM... done.

Was about to suggest the same, Asamoah is a box to box mid that balances up the midfield, two-way midfielder, can play next to a DM, we dont need to sacrifice Camo for him, can take Marchisio's role if its necessary.

This defense is way too green. It has lot of potential but it lacks an experienced leader and i don't remember a single big team, now and in the past, that didn't have such an experienced leader.

    They are 22-24-24-22

I know it's the quality that counts, but i'd still prefer someone who has quality, but also has the experience.

In other words, i choose Marquez instead of Agger :D

In an ideal world we'd purchase both. :pumpkin:

But you're right, if we want to buy a leader for the back, Marquez would be the name. Only problem is he's already 30.

Although i think Marquez has all the attributes to do well in italy i think some slightly overrate him.

Motta for me is unrealistic, just cant see it happen, basicly Romas best buy and i think he wont be eager to switch sides just yet. Even if Roma wont play in CL. And his fee is probably one of the lowest so Roma can keep him anyway.

Looking that backline Andy posted makes me think who will stay for backup and who will be sold. I dont think we will change 3 out of 4 defenders in our starting lineup in one summer. Its very uncharacteristic, id be slightly more pessimistic and expect Criscito + 1 defender brought.

    Realistic expectation:

    ----------------------------Gigi/Manni-------------------------
    RB/Zebi-----Legro/Olaf---Chiellini/Ariaudo---Criscito/Moli

    Knezevic sold
    Grygera sold
    De Ceglie loaned out again

So id say likely we might buy a RB, we have been constantly linked with De Silvestri, and id say go for it. Very promising RB from what i have seen with Italy U21.

I think Ranieri wont be experimenting too much, Legro has his flaws but we been playing that cd duo for about 2 years now, and i suppose it will be kept that way for another year or two, Legro isnt that old yet. I think its likely De Ceglie might be loaned out again, hardly had action ever since Ranieri finally started picking Gio ahead of DC in the subs order. Ranieri has been starting Molinaro so often that you would think if he doesnt like him he would bench or loan him.
