but yeah, Moggi said that Drogba will sign for Milan. That Juve will not sign him as he is looking for huge wages. He said that was one of the things he looked at when signing an older player, whether he still wanted to play, or still wanted a huge payday. If they wanted a huge payday, that would warn him off from signing them as it showed that they weren't really looking to play at a top level. Furthermore, he said that Drogba is no longer a top player because hes been out of rhythm in China for too long.

Moggi made quite alot of sense there

For a 6 month loan on cheap wages i'd have considered, but indeed, he's no longer the top player and certainly doesnt command his huge ass wages.

Good that marotta thinks the same way

people saying we should sign drogba regardless should wake up and notice he isnt 29 anymore

Drogba house-hunting in Turin?
By Football Italia staff

Italian media suggest Didier Drogba is house-hunting in Turin ahead of a January transfer to Juventus.

The striker is currently training with his old club Chelsea, as the Chinese season has already concluded and he is eager to leave Shanghai Shenhua.

The latest reports in Italy claim the Ivory Coast international was spotted in Turin recently looking at houses.

Juve have made no secret of their interest in Drogba, who would bring a new dimension to their attack and be eligible to play in the Champions League.

Milan are also tracking the veteran forward, although President Silvio Berlusconi noted on Saturday that he was “too expensive” for their current budget.
