I think it'll be less than what Drogba needs. I would say that if Ivory Coast go far in that tournament, Drogs will be gone for a month and he'll need around 2 or 3 weeks to become fit and learn the system a bit.

I love the idea of signing Drogba, but lets be real, Beppe has a good reason not to sign him.

I think the possibility of signing Villa in Jan is close to none, Marotta practically acknowledged that the need to sign a striker is for the CL.

Tbh apart from Drogba there arent very good market opportunities atm for Marotta to exploit..And we all know Bilbao wont sell Llorente..

We should be getting a striker who would be able to elevate us in the CL but there arent many cheap options available are they ? even if there are most of em are cup tied..

So in the end i wouldnt be surprised if we dont sign a striker at all this Jan tbh..Now that Drogba is ruled out and Llorente seems inaccesible i believe thats the right thing to do rather than making another crappy panic buy..this is what i feel..

I'd say better focus now on reinforcing the defensive depth..Make neto the priority of this window..
