Anybody who thinks Drogba is past it, hasn't seen what a monster he is physically. That kind of body can easily sustain another two years of CL football. He's an athlete and a half, Id snap him up for free in a heartbeat. In fact it'll be a masterstroke to get somebody like him as a short term fix who'll offer immediate results and at the same time free up some cash to invest in a wing forward like Suarez.

Vucinic-Drogba-Suarez = Champions of Europe.

has he still got the hunger? I doubt it.

let him get one last big paycheck in China.
Agree,too old,too late.

It's obvious we need someone like Higuain/Cavani/Suarez type of a player.
plus 1 hungry & young good potential back up=Destro.

Thanks,but no thanks.

Ambition is key here no doubt. If he's got the pay check on his mind he won't even give our offer a thought. Now that he won the CL with Chelsea I don't know how much of a lure it would be for him to stay around and compete in the CL. Everybody doesn't have the same motivations as Alex but let's wait and watch coz he would be an amazing deal if we could pull it off.

It's all very ideal for Drogba. He leaves Chelsea as their hero who was instrumental both trophies won by the club this season, goes to China with his health, millions of dollars and his gold house and his rocket car.

Drogba wants nothing to do with any league titles anymore.
He's accomplished everything he's set out to do.
All he wants now is a nice paycheck to end his career, at a team where there's little pressure and he can just enjoy his football.
I assume he'll either go to China, the MLS, or back to Marseille for a few appearances.

There was an old Chelsea player on the radio last night talking Drogba up, but he also said that on his day he 'would fly around Stamford Bridge like an empty crisp packet'.
