Well, he did. I am not taking anything away from him but he did make bad signings. Fortunately, that were not big money transfers, unlike Secco's.

Salas was not a bad signing in terms of quality, he was unlucky with injuries. I remember he performed decently when he could.

Vieira was not as bad as he is made out to be and I believe he would have improved in 2nd season if he was to stay injury free. He is actually a great player.

Secco spend huge money on weak players, if you catch my point.

i don't consider henry, van der sar, perrotta, olivera or viera as "flops". granted they are no longer with us but they were all primarily good players for us during their time in turin. i also believe that the greatness they achieved with other teams wouldn't have been possible without being bianconero beforehand

Even if folk 'flop' at Juve, it doesn't mean that they aren't good players or that it didn't make sense to sign them.

You can hardly say that signing Van der Saar, Tiago or Henry was a bad move. All are good players which, for various reasons, have failed to shine for Juve.

agreed

especially with henry case , he didn't play in his real position ,

any manager can make mistakes ,

moggi was the best cuz he bought good players with good prices !!

and he didn't make many flops in the mercato , i would say he was the less manager to do mistakes !!
