Nope. It's true. If you think otherwise, you are delusional. The current batch of Italian players is largely mediocre, with a few exceptions in midfield, a couple of quality wingers, one CB and a LB.

Barella, Tonali and Bastoni are not coming here anytime soon, probably ever. We already have Chiesa. Who else is left? Zaniolo and perhaps Gnonto and Udogie. Cristante and the like are trash.
And whose fault is that? These names are the current batch, and aside from Bastoni, both were obtainable and they all would've been light years ahead of anything we'll be fielding next year.

Also like him or not, Berardi is a leader for Sassuolo and would be a huge improvement to our squad and alongside Chiesa would produce a shit ton of chances for Vlahovic.

Chiesa - Vlahovic - Berardi
Pogba - Locatelli - Barella
Anyone we don't have - De Ligt - Bonucci - Cuadrado
GK

Then you still have players like Tonali as you mentioned that could fit in as well. This is a dynamic, young lineup that would make a great TEAM that key pieces of wouldn't ask to leave every season. We couldn't even keep Dybala, and he was here for years. If you can't see that, then you're the delusional one.

Or tell you what, we could do what we have been doing, overpaying for players like De Ligt who will start to become unsettled after a few years and look to leave while we win nothing in the meantime. I know what I prefer, I know what I would feel more attached to as a fan. If we don't go for promising domestic talent now like Gnonto or look to develop our own such as Fagioli or Miretti, we're going to be stuck in these cycles for a long time and we both know it.

We're not getting Barella, De Ligt won't be around for much longer, and Retardi is an overrated piece of shit Jabroni who thrives in a low-pressure environment. He's no fucking leader, definitely not for Italy and most certainly won't be for Juventus. If he gets 5 goals and 5 assists here, we should count our lucky stars. I don't want that POS anywhere near the club.

The team you posted is not great. It is deficient in both defense and attack. Only the midfield, if Pogba can stay healthy, is great, and it's unrealistic and purely hypothetical, because Barella is never joining us.

Yes, I would like to have a few Italians, but the current level of Italian "talent" is nowhere near that of generations past.

You're missing my point.

Feel free to post your reasonable world beating lineup.

Udinese won't let this guy go unfortunately.

What I dont understand is that if Valencia are in negotiations for Arthur why dont we make a push for Gaya? I thought they needed to offload him for financial reasons? This would be a perfect opportunity

#Juventus are in talks with #Udinese to try to sign Destiny #Udogie. They consider him the perfect Pellegrini’s replacement (possible destination: #WestHam) and have offered €14M to #Udinese, which ask 30-35 to sell the Italian fullback. #transfers

Rugani +10m and shut the fuck up.
