Delle Alpi to be restructured (21 Viewers)

Which option for the delle Alpi: Restore or Rebuild?

  • Restore = Pisanu/UEFA compliance, 50k seats, same structure, same stands-to-pitch gap

  • Rebuild = 40k seats for brand-spanking new park socking us into debt. (Costs 10x+ more than Restore)

damn it .. now we won't be able to hold CL finals :( .. UEFA requires a min of 50,000 seating capacity .. with the exception of the main stadium in Austria

Great news indeed, 40,000 seats is not bad at all. I really wished that our managers would construct a new stadium. Am starting to like this board........

we can'T even fill the olimpico.... so i'd say 40000 would be enough.... even so with cl etc.... in the end it's better to have always 40.000 than a stadium with 60.000 seats and it's just full in 2 games per season...

40,000 is good. Better to have a full stadium then half. My question is will it be just for Juve or Torino will use it also?
No, just for Juve. Torino will keep the Olimpico.

Anyway, so no sponsorship deal eh?
It means we can name the stadium as we like, Stadio Gianni Agnelli sounds sooo cool,
but my dream is Stadio Vecchia Signora :xfinger:

Why wouldn't it be able to host CL games?
you got me wrong .. would could host our games in the CL like any team .. but CL FINALS are which we can't host ..

but ya as cunninlynguists said it .. we shouldn't care much .. but being able to host CL finals is an indicator of how good a stadium is .. not any stadium can host them :) ..

all in all, it's sound very interesting .. and i would go for Stadio Ferrari too ;)

What's with all the whining for a larger stadium? We can barely fill in the Olimpico, and the delle Alpi is a cavernous mess and wasteland.

Stadium size is not a proxy to compensate for a small penis, you know.

i am finding it strange to waste £82m for the construction of a new stadium on the site of the old Stadio Delle Alpi unless we have enough money for buying new players for the CL next season.
