I also think by removing th excess capacity it would in the long term help them save some money. The bottom line is we aint never gonna get them big 70,000 crowds so to a certain extent I think reducing the capacity is a wise decision.

i agree. this is a football match, not a tennis or hockey game! it should be at least be 45,000, which will still give a better view than most stadiums. i dont want the delle alpi looking like highbury.

i would rather switch stadiums to somewhere else even the stadio communale...this club is huge and our stadium will only hold 35,000 its a real shame imo.

i think the management just want to raise the ticket prices as it would be harder to get seats

MILANO (Spystocks.com) - Per la Torino di fede bianconera, che si ritrova allo Stadio delle Alpi per tifare la sua squadra, potrebbe essere arrivato il momento di traslocare temporaneamente al vecchio Comunale per continuare a seguire la Vecchia Signora. Secondo quanto risulta a Finanza.com infatti, sarebbero maturi i tempi per l’assegnazione dei lavori per il rifacimento dell’impianto sportivo casalingo, che dovrà “dimagrire” fino a contenere non più di 35mila posti dai 67mila di capienza massima attuale. Una metamorfosi che interesserà anche le aree adiacenti, dove nascerebbero svariate attività commerciali. Il general contractor, vincitore dell’appalto e responsabile dei lavori, secondo quanto risulta dovrebbe essere proprio la Semana, una srl creata nel 2003 dalla stessa Juve (30%) e dall’European service engineering (il restante 70%), che ha in appalto la fornitura dei servizi per la gestione della struttura fin dall’anno della sua costituzione. Lo stesso anno nel quale la società di corso Galileo Ferraris ha acquistato dal comune la proprietà dello stadio. Quali sono le cifre in ballo? Per il solo rifacimento dell’impianto e le relative attrezzature non si dovrebbe andare lontani dagli 80 milioni di euro, che saranno reperiti dalla società probabilmente mediante ricorso alla provvista bancaria (potrebbe giocare un ruolo anche la cessione del marchio commerciale? -vedi rumor 21 marzo 2006). A questa cifra bisognerà poi aggiungere una decina di milioni di euro per tutta una serie di spese accessorie, tra le quali i collaudi, le autorizzazioni governative e la progettazione, che dovrebbe essere affidata ad un team di ingegneri formato da Gino Zavanella, Francesco Ossola, Massimo Majowiecki e Marco Lazzerini. I lavori dovrebbero essere ultimati entro 24 mesi, e potrebbero iniziare subito dopo la fine del campionato, per il quale mancano ormai solo quattro giornate. Un ultima notazione circa il nome del nuovo stadio, che dovrebbe essere intitolato a Giovanni Agnelli, che della Juve è stato anche presidente in gioventù, e sempre intenso sodale dei colori bianconeri.
