Watched a few games for vasco da Gama and Whenever I've watched Dede he reminded me of Inter's defender lucio !
Can be brilliant at times in defending but occasionally he does some really stupid errors that makes you go

His strength I would say being both tall (great at aerial challenges) and fast at same time ( which is pretty rare for a defender).
Plus he's an aggressive defender which generally makes him popular with the fans (chiellini type).
