why the hell is it so hard for us to sign a player? we can't even get our own fucking players back...this is sooooo damn frustrating to watch our mercatos unfold.

Because we made a deal with Parma for a season long loan. So if we desperately want him back, we need to make a new deal with them, which will cost us.
Apparently, at first we thought Lanza was a necessity for us, but some people have changed their minds. One can only assume that this change of heart happened because the cost was too high right now when compared to what Lanza would add to our team these 5 months.

But we can drop 25m on melo?

Lanza would cost us the wages for those 5 months, we can afford that. Unless we are buying a new striker which would be retarded considering we already have 5 when we can just bring one back rather than buy a new one.

That is indeed debatable. I was never happy with what happened there, but what's done is done.

Lanza would cost us considerably more than just wages.
Like I said, we have an agreement with Parma for a season long loan. Right now we do not have the right to recall him, so in order to get him back we would have to come to a new agreement with Parma.
From what I heard there were talks that this new agreement would cost us 500k. That is a lot of money wasted, considering that you're paying for your own player & considering that he will barely set foot on the pitch.

No, Immobile, no Camo, No Lanza => No 4-2-3-1 option...
Rossi - Diego - PDC
Striker

Not a big fan of PDC, but if we would want to, that's the way to go. We won't anyway.. even when Gio was fit and Camo was injured, we never considered playing Rossi or Sali on the right to just keep playing the only formation that actually worked.

EDIT: Not to mention Iago, I forgot we got him back.
